so, i have only posted here a couple of times. including the new member intro, so i don't know how many of you will remember those posts (or maybe even POST lol). well, as my name suggests, i have been a little skeptical about my experiences... until now. okay, that is not true, when i was in high school i was really into it and really believed it and i lost touch with that. i am 26 now so we are talking a period of maybe 7 or 8 years of pretty hard core atheism. freaks me out now. BUT anyways.

i came to astral pulse in the first place because i had had a couple of random projections, first time in a while. since that time, since i came here and started back on that path, things have become uncannily odd. like the "universe" or what have you is communicating with me. be it through other people (i have met some awesome people!) or through my own awakening. it is really great. so anyways, i am here now because i have made AMAZING progress. in my introduction post i mentioned being astrally blind. i have been able to project at least multiple times every few days, and as of yesterday, I CAN SEE. like SEE SEE. lol  :-) i read this tip somewhere else on the net, rub your hands together and blow on them? it worked, but now i realize i just have to want to see. i am finally not so overwhelmed with being out of my body i can focus on that stuff.

but today, i made a major milestone. apart from sight, i was able to get further away. i always find that so hard. so i tried something else i had read: being fired out of a cannon lol. but it worked! and this is what i want to talk about. seeing was SOOOOOO much easier away from the body. for one, i was less distracted. didn't feel like my body was trying to pull me back. how exhilarating! but this is what i would like you all to comment on, it was not the physical outside world, at all. i live in atlanta, ga. wherever i went looked NOTHING like where i live. it was very flat, sparse but fully grown trees... almost landscaped looking, like they were evenly spaced. i was too excited to think about it much. i kept running, and jumping, and flying. ha. i eventually encountered a building, and here is where i remembered i should TRY to accomplish something/contact something, because i have made touch with guides and stuff in lucid dreams. so i made a call that i wanted to speak to someone. there were no doors in the building, and things were becoming oddly physical. i think i had just been out too long because it is all very fuzzy now. i kept struggling through the walls and looking for someone i was sure was about to be there. but that is when i got pulled back. i think my snoring bf didn't help.

man i have so much to say, but i will start here. i want to talk to you all about the phases and why you use them, or why i should maybe use them if i can accomplish things without them. why do you think they are helpful? sigh, but mostly i want to talk about my milestone, and get to know you! so happy  :-D

Nice.

The rub'n'blow method is awesome.

You should always remain skeptical... always question it.

You were in the nonphysical... 'the astral'. It's open to debate as to what it ACTUALLY is. I feel it is the inner environment that our consciousness derives from. Made up of our projected expectations... other peoples projected expectations... other nonphysical entities projected expectations... layers upon layers of every consciousness' expectations that is and ever been. I think we have our own local non-physical environment that we reside in. We think there... run scenarios there when we daydream and generally problem solve... dream there and maybe pass through when we physically die. When we OOBE in whatever fashion.. we ARE there.

good point. i still feel skeptical in a way, but letting go a bit has helped me so much.

also, i like what you said about having a local environment... i haven't had a lucid dream in a long long time, but even my normal dreams seem to often take place in come kind of space i have built. i have tried to have the conversation with those that are close to me... to no avail. like i might have said "do you have a dream world, like, places you go back to over and over in dreams?". heh, don't think anyone has said yes yet, but i bet some of the members here relate. i hope to learn things from here, although to answer my own question, i think i will skip all that phase work unless i have trouble in the future. thanks for the response!
