An idea of how the big bang came to be.

Hey, General-Army, nice thinking. You may have a point about the Physical Plane being created by higher beings. Occult Philosophy (the "white" stuff, not the "black") gives us an overarching axiom which states: "Nothing exists which has not first been conceived in the mind of a self-conscious entity". This is an interesting saying because some fascinating ideas flow from it. But back to your topic.

Is it necessary that the physical plane came about via the Big Bang? Couldn't matter just come into existence as individual particles and then be organised by some force, itself originating from the same source (higher beings) as the matter it's supposed to organise?

Sticking with the Physical Plane, why do we believe the Big Bang theory is the correct one to explain the phenomenon of universal creation? Why not the Steady State theory? Why not something else?  Because science tells is what to believe? What if science is wrong?  Can we examine scientific theories ourselves - not technically - but conceptually, using a bit of common sense?

Could there be a problem with the Big Bang theory that we mortals can see and that science - up to its eyebrows in mathematical proofs - has overlooked?

Here's my little "nugget", for what it's worth:

Because the speed of light is finite, when we view a distant object in the night sky we see it not as it is, but as it was. This we all know. So what?  Well, if we look far enough into space we should be able to look far enough back in time to see the origin of the universe - the Big Bang.
(This is a conceptual exercise, not a perceptual one - we're not interested in the physics. If an idea doesn't work conceptually, then is there any point in descending into detail?) But here's the snag. Because we can look back in time in all directions, the Big Bang on this reasoning must have been all around us, which is incompatible with it being, as science puts it, a singularity.

There's more, but I won't pursue it here (sighs of relief). I've made my point about not accepting scientific dogma at face value, and indicated, I hope, that in some instances at least we can think it through ourselves.

actaully, sapian, they can see almost back to the big bang. When you look back, you see galaxies forming, quasars, etc, and looking back this far is how they date the big bang. I read in national geographic a few years ago that there is a limit to how far we look back, beacuse we are technicaly looking back at the same position from each angle. Plus there's a raditation feild or something blocking our view. I'm into biology, not astronomy, but as far as each inconsistancy there is regarding the big bang, the experts either have an explanation or working on it.
The way science works is that there are three levels of knowledge
hypothesis-untested theory. you scientists back me up here.
theory-high likelyhood of truth, but some explaining yet to do.
law-fundamentals. True in all known situations.

also, general-army, you brought up anti-matter so I think I'll point out that I read in the newspaper that they managed to create antimatter at the atomic level (that is, anti-hydrogen, with one anti-proton and one anti-electron.)

Greetings!

Higher intelligences advise us that the physical Universe has always existed in the "eternal now", just as all of the higher spheres have always existed.

The physical Universe is merely a "seamless" extension of the Astral, Mental etc. planes, but of very low vibration. The 3D physical Universe is still an illusion, and is still made of light, as quantum physics is gradually realising. The physical Universe and all of the higher spheres are all density degrees and interpenetrate each other - there is no point where one sphere ends and the next begins.

The physical Universe was created from the elements of Fire, Water, Air and Earth - not in the physical sense, but the Universal sense. Also there exists the electric and magnetic fluids, which are not fluids in the earthly sense, and the electric and magnetic are not in the earthly sense either - but all comprise the "ether", the vibrational, density degrees of which form spheres including the physical Universe.  Atoms are now seen to be 99.999.....% nothing, the remainder being constructe from the elements in accordance with its atomic constitution.

Genesis I chronicled the creation of the Astral not the physical, and is best described in the Sephir Yetzirah of the Kaballah. From the worlds of creation and formation came the physical world - and nothing exists in the physical world that was not first created in the Astral. So, it would follow, that the Universe was first created in the Astral, and it became a reality in the physical Universe, and which is the time known as the "big bang".

With best regards,

Adrian.

>Occult Philosophy (the "white" stuff, not the "black")

Sapien,
don't worry about using the term 'occult' here! Occult simply means 'hidden' as in hidden knoweldge.
It's interesting that mainly due to christian propaganda the term 'occult' now equals 'satanism' or 'black magick' by the generel public. When in reality such connections do not exist.

'Satanism' is no more occult than iron Maiden, just another way of young gothy types to rebel against percieved authority, There's nothing occult about it.
In fact you'd be hard pushed to find Satan in any true occult philosophy other than in symbolic terms!

Regards,
Douglas
PS I rather like Iron Maiden actually, but I think I've just made myself look dated!

Since the other 5 levels of existence such as astral and that Akousta and the buddha and what ever the rest are, maybe the Physical plane came to be by beings of the other planes of existance creating a physical plane so they can expeirience life and death, or maybe they needed a place for a second chance for them to redeem them selves. So higher beings created a gigantic build up of matter from their own existences and put it into the physical like a  huge psiball and it exploded shooting matter and anti matter through the universe, the matter had higher numbers so it defeated the anti matter and then stars and planets were created from the matter and then the physical was created with liveable places. I just thought of this a couple of minutes ago so i wasnt able to think of it for hours like i do sometimes when i come up with ideas and try to perfect them, so this might be a bit screwed up or hard to understand, tell me what you all thing about it.
