Thanks for the article. I'm a member at lucidity.com and I'll tell you right now they are scientists who believe it is "naive" to think that consciousness can be separated from the body. They believe OBE's are a type of lucid dream. But they fail to prove that the consciousness can not be separated from the body.[;)]
it has since been proven that the lucid dream and an OBE are differant phenomena, however they seem to both be related to the right temporal lobe.. See research by Wilder Penfield. EEG readings on lucid dreams and the OBE are entirely differant as well.... the two phenomena dont even have a relation, other than their localization in the brain. however the brain is turning out to be a less localized region than previously thought.
