ecstasy induced OBE

If you saw yourself on the cough having a cigarette (and werent having one when you first exited) it sounds like it might be somewhat different to a consciously induced OBE. Im no expert on them - infact a beginner myself - but I have had drug induced OBEs and they sound vastly different from that of an "ordinary" OBE (which I have yet to experience).

My thinking is that you do infact leave the body under a drug induced OBE the same as normal, however the things you see and do are vastly different because of the drugs psychotic effect.

Id have to say..your mindset is definately different

But sometimes with a Drug induced obe
Its more like your doing a duel consciousness type thing...
The obe seems kind of faint..more like a distant image being played

consciously induced ones can be very realistic...you can even physically feel some stuff

I dont see how you could have an obe on ecstasy....if it was really mdma anyway

Ecstacy can be classed as a psychedellic. Remeber if your a regular drug user it is likely to have much less of a profound effect on you. I have a friend who doesnt feel a thing from shrooms anymore, no matter what the dosage.

It was pure MDMA from what I was told, it was my first time experimenting with the drug, I'm not a habitual user.  I was just curious, especially since people were saying what profound experiences they had on it, some even went as far as to say it changed their lives.

I was smoking, and could see myself from above on the couch doing that very thing.  It was exciting and both scary at the same time to be out of my body.

Maybe it wasn't a true OBE, but a slight hallucination, not sure.

I dont doubt your experience or anything, It just seems like the two times I've tried MDMA it has been a very .....hmm.... like It seems like Im a very non-introspective thing.  But I guess it is different for everyone.  Ive only tried pure MDMA myself (I know it was because the first time I took it by the person who synthesized it, and the second one was listed on dancesafe as tested by their lab).  The second time I believe my experience was much to strong...so it is not like it was a weak experience either..it overwhelmed me and I felt horrible the next day....But I do have to say it was the best Id ever felt while it lasted....

I'm new here, and just happened to stumble onto this site while researching Osama Bin Laden, but anyways

I thought I'd just share something with you all.

In August of 2001 I was at a nightclub with 3 friends, and I took 2 ecstasy pills, and after an hour of ingesting them I literally flew out of my body as I sat on a couch, I was in the air looking at the dance floor, flying around the entire club, and then I could see myself sitting on the couch having a cigarette.  After that someone nudged me and I was 'back in my body' so to speak.

any comments/explanations ?
