Title: is holosync for me?
Post by: OllyB on February 22, 2009, 09:51:17
hi i'm new here, these sorta questions might be farely commen around here but i need to know some answers. i had a pretty hard few months and was put on anti-depressants by my local doctor. I have since got a taste for alternative ways of healing such as meditation, yogo and such things, i am still taking medication for my depression and i wanted to know is it safe for me to be practicing meditation with the aid of holosync while i'm taking anti-depressants?? or should i wait until i've stoped? also i'm still kinda skeptical it was only during the last 3 days that i heard that holosync even existed.

i recently downloaded level 1of holosync from a torrent in flac. format. is mp3 good enough to covert to?

I would consult your doctor on whether it's OK or not. Energy fluctuations can cause emotional up rifts.

MP3 should be OK. The higher the bitrate the better (obviously). I ripped my hemi-sync to 192 bitrate mp3 and it does well.

i myself prefer not to use the holosync or hemisync or whatever im an all natural projector. however i dont see why they should effect your depression however you should follow stookie's advice and consult your doctor

Hello. According to Bill Harris, the creator of Holosync, listening while on anti-depressive medication is fine (in fact I do this myself), although what is not recommended is to use Holosync as a substitute for the medication. It has been said that using Holosync along with the medication might actually speed up the process, and it's definitely not harmful.

I would recommend you to use flac. I've heard from those who tried both that flac is way better. mp3 didn't produce the results.

well i have been on medication for over 2 months now and i am feeling fine and think i might be coming off the it soon, (If thats what my doctor also agrees on of course)
just wanted to say that i've tried it now and i've had a whole different experience using it, i am used to doing meditation and yogo that sorta of thing i've been doing quite seriously but only recently. i went into the meditation and was meet with a very intense white light which was very pleasant for a while but then i found it was almost a little too much i made the misstake of playing the first level instead of the prologue. was wondering if anyone had made that misstake when first trying holosync or am i the only dummy :P anyway i am going to get the prologue and start from there now. cheers for the welcome response :)
