I usually lie on my bed at night and listen to some music before sleep.
I imagine things with the music.
Will this prevent me from getting an OBE ?

What I mean is ... Can I just listen to the music and think of the words and create images in my head. Like an imaginary music video for the song from my imagination ?

Thanks

Did you want to do it with it on, or just using it for 'seeding' the trance?
I would say 'why not'?  But I'm sure others will see it differently.

The only 2 OBE's I've had happened while I was listening to my mp3 player. Since I was using it, I could tell how long the OBE's were, so it's kinda useful I guess. Just make sure it's not too loud that you won't OBE...and during one of my OBE's I kept hearing weird beats - it turned out to be my mp3 player. Lol. It was pretty funny actually.

I say go for it.

I find it easier to meditate with the white noise of the music in the background... knocks out any of those intruding sounds that might otherwise interrupt me.
The music I listen to is mostly of a New Age sort though... very relaxing.  :)

hmmm... i will try this!
I have been researching for about a year now on OObe's but never realy had one--cuz never really tried to--well i kinda did but then just gave up cause had school. but summer is a great time to have OOBE's!
and music is a good suggestion i think. cuz my friend was saying he has these bio neural beats which help him project out of his body very easily!
so yeah definitely try music.  :-)

I nearly always use music, it gets me into a trance state really quickly. Would recommend
Kelly Howell and Dr Jeffrey Thomspson.
