Is it possible?

AngelicSaiyan

Well, this morning after I went back to sleep (had a busy day yesterday and woke up very tired), I remember something odd.   I did however attain lucidity very quickly, and the scenery went white and I woke up.  Something didn't quite seem right, but when I concentrated, I felt this weird wavering feeling, and somehow it allowed me to roll over without really "rolling over".  I did it twice, but somehow afer the second attempt, it faded back into a dream where if I were to concentrate on the wavering thing again, it turned an old analog console tv on (but not off) which was weird.

Could that have been an obe?  When I opened my eyes it seemd a little weird, and I couldn't move my body when I was "rolled over".   Very very weird.

AngelicSaiyan,

Here is an experience that happened to me and it sounds similar to yours. This is an excerpt from my dream journal.

I was in my bed awake lying on my stomach. I spontaneously started using the rollout method to induce an OBE. This is something that I have tried un-successfully in the past. My body felt like a shell and I was moving inside it. I was on my stomach with my head turned to the left. I turned clockwise and the rolled off the bed. As I was coming off the bed I started to go into a dive kinda like I was diving in a pool or something. I then got a vision that was cloudy and hard to make out. It was in the center of my mind. I was clearly awake but my eyes were closed and I was seeing. I can remember them being closed and feeling my eyes moving behind my closed lids and still being able to see. It looked like I was seeing my room. It was in black and white and was not a still picture. There was motion. I tried to hold on to it as I looked around but it slowly faded. My eye lids opened and I was in my bed and it was 4:05 am. I laid in bed thinking about what just happened and concluded one of two things. This was either an OBE or a false awaking
that turned to a wake induced lucid dream. Either way it was truly an incredible experience.

I think I did it again

This morning (10 Aug) I had quite the lucid dream, not only was it in color, I was in full complete control, the image was as clear as day, and I think I may have been talking to someone I know from work (and I may have seen a pool of dreams or whatnot.  It was a room that looked like a pool room, however it had sparkling purple points of light  that felt like the essences of all beings).  Anyhow, I did loose focus, but I managed to bring the dream back (with it still flowing!), and after that I decided to try some more obe.  When I got awareness of my room back, I felt vibes again.  Ok, so I treated it like it had a throttle control, and I concentrated on twisting the grip, which in turn accellerated the vibes.  I did that twice, and on the second attempt, I was able to break free momentarily.  I stopped after that because I didn't want to be out for too long, and as I was settling down, I did have my eyes open and everything was in b/w.  Aside from that I notice the normal paralysis, and as I settled down I was able to come out of it.

It sounds to me that I have made progress without really trying to.  What does everyone else think?

I leave the house today and I won't be back untill Sunday.  Thanks in advance.
