Title: Is it possible to return in the wrong position?

Not a chance. I have never heard of this happening to anybody in the physical.

Having said that if you say had a false awakening from a AP return which is not impossible it is remotely possible for you to be out of whack there.

But the feeling of being in such a predicament would knock you awake almost instantly.

It is not possible because contrary to what the term out of body experience implies you are not actually taking something out of your body. You are shifting your consciousness to another one of your bodies. These bodies are you, they exist now as you read this. The difference is that your consciousness is in your physical body.

Do you mean "enter the body" upside down? Yes, I've read stories of that happening, but I don't think there were any adverse side effects to it.

even if you feel like you entered you body wrong you would feel like you alinged soon enough.  

In one of my obes I was dreaming and I realized I was dreaming and I started to wake up.  I told myself dont wake up dont wake up and I was in the vibrational state.  I then said go to the front door go to the front door and I lifted up a little rotated 180 degrees so my head was where my feet should be and I then swam kicked floated looking pretty silly im sure toward the front door..
