I could not return!!

Today i came home after class to rest for a few hours. When i lied to sleep i had no intention to project but i kept coming out of my body. Most of the times i stopped when the vibrations started because i was really tired and not in the mood. The last time i decided to fly around for a little. After i had finished my flight i asked myself to return to my body. When i thought i had woken up i tried to turn the position of my body from left to right but instead of moving my physical body i was only able to move my energy body. I was watching my body lying dead, i had no control over it and also felt my physical self suffocating as if as i was losing my breath. I tried to calm down and think of returning but nothing happened. Then i tried to force myself by shouting "WAKE UP!! WAKE UP!! WAKE UUUUUP!!" ..still nothing. After a while i came back breathless. The whole thing lasted about  15-20 minutes or at least it felt so. I'm projecting for about a year and this has never happened to me before and i was really afraid. I thought that i died. I'm not sure if i want to project again.

Is it possible to not return from an astral projection?

Great story, and good to hear that you made it back.

An extreme case of sleep paralysis? When you said "wake up , wake up," reminds me of some of my paralysis experiences, except that I've all ways been frozen in my body while trying to wake up.

It's good to know that you made it through that unpleasant experience. Next time that happens, focus on a specific body part while imagining yourself moving that body part and you should be back in your body in no time.

I've had many negative experiences and I've always been able to return to my physical body. You'll always return to your body no matter what situation you're in.

I have experienced sleep paralysis many times in the past and I'm pretty sure that was something else. In SP as one said I am frozen and I cannot move neither my physical or astral body and it doesn't last that long. I tried imagining that I move my hands for example but  my astral hands only were moving.
