hi,
im no expert-but from what I can tell-to OBE is to be in real time-in the physical world-but out of your body-Astral Projection is different only by the level (for lack of a better word) of where you go-not in "real time", maybe another dimension-backwards or forwards in time-like in a lucid dream?!  Maybe more encompassing than what I just stated-and as for a near death experiance-from what I understand many are similar to both OBEs and APs-does this help?

When having what I think is an OBE in real time-things are the same as the actually are-I am aware of differences in the way I feel and how I move-its a different sensation/perception-

In addition, according to R. Bruce, during the NDE the actual etheric body separation occurs, whereas during projection into RTZ (OBE) or Astral, the etheric body stays in place and the projection is performed by the "projectable double" of corresponding type.

Its gets pretty complicated. You'll have to get the book if you need details.

So... the more intense the experiance the more of yourself gets invested...?

(I apologize if this has been talked about before, I did some research on it here and couldn't find a post that delt specifically with it so here goes my question...)

I've heard and read lots of articles and stories about Astral Projection, N.D.E.'s (both good and bad) and O.B.E.'s.  What's the real difference?  Is it a matter of perception, or is a misnomer to class the three as similiar or the same?  I've talked to people in real life who've had N.D.E.'s (bad ones and good ones) and who O.B.E. and Astral project on a semi-regular basis.  They just gave me more questions... so maybe you could help, that is you, the other members of this here Astralpulse site.  All viewpoints, religious, spiritual, agnostic, philisophical, and scientific will be welcome.  I cannot promise to agree with all viewpoints but I would be more than happy to hear from you all. Mustardseed, James S, Beth, Nagual, all of you and more are welcome to post with your viewpoints.
