is there an astral body?

for it is nearly indestinguishible wether im in or out of body but on the other hand if i dont expect to feel a body i dont feel one

I think it's a commonly accepted belief among AP'ers that there is (or are, I forget), but whether there is or not I dunno. I've had some experiences without an astral body, so perhaps the body is just like a 'residual self-image' (phrase courtesy of the Matrix ) that the mind projects into the astral while 'projecting'. But then what about the chakras? Are they cemented into the astral body or something else?

u usually have a "body" because ur mind places one there, cause ur used to it.

though if u want u can change shape into pretty much anything you want.

In my experiences, I've usually had a body that (as far as I can tell) looks and feels just like my physical body.  

One time, I was totally disembodied--that freaked me out big time!    But then, toward the end, I was inside someone else's seemingly physical body--and that was even freakier, let me tell you!

yep as dingo said, ur sub concious puts your own body in place, but with enough will power its possible to change it.
