getting closer

so the first thing I do is a breathing technique and  imagine a balloon that when I breathe in the balloon expand and when I exhale the balloon deflate. So when I get into a deep, and I try to climb my imaginary rope. But i keep doing it but nothing happens. I dont feel a shift. Idk what i am doing wrong. Please i need help.

You're stuck in the same place I was a while back.  You're being overly analytical regarding the "process".
You're being too robotic in this... imagining a balloon... expanding it... deflating... expanding... deflating...

Describe to me what you think being "deep enough" is.

What you're doing is a meditation.  The point of the meditation is to disassociate yourself from this physical reality.
Your problem is that you aren't allowing your focus to shift from physical to non-physical.

You need to lose yourself in the visualization.  Allow everything physical to drop away as you're doing the visualization.

Each time you expand the balloon... each time you deflate the balloon... allow your focus to move further and further away from the physical, allow yourself to lose more and more physical-ness, until all there is left is nothing... no room, no physical, no anything... just YOU.  Just your consciousness. 

*THEN* climb the rope.
