Hi,
I was wondering if you can answer a couple of questions for me? And if so thank you in advance. I've been attempting to project and its day 13. I've been practicing in the morning and at night. Throughout my day i practice transcendental meditation (20 minutes morning + 20 minutes evening), I clear my chakras once a day (7min) and raise my kundaliini (25 min/daily).

I eat extremely healthy, workout once a day cardio, yoga and resistance training. during my projection attempts, it takes no more then 10 minutes to get to complete body vibrations, buzzing sounds, shaking of my bed (well it seems like that). During this time, all I do is clearly focus my attention away from my body, like floating by the ceiling in my room ( I visualize the ceiling being 1 foot away from me)

Then I read that I should be visualizing myself astral body more than 10 feet away, because that breaks the barrier with the etheric body) So I did that, no luck. I stay in these vibrations for up to 1.5 hours and its exhausting after the fact, my main focus is relaxation and I welcome the awkward feelings. I actually enjoy and am enlightened by them (vibrations buzzing etc..
I've also visualized the rope technique, and rolling technique as well. I'm bring to calmly figure out what it is that I'm lacking. Now its only been 13 days...But would love some advice

I've also imagined my astral arms, feet, hands toes etc being in motion, and i felt the corresponding vibrations in those areas. In one of steve g jones hypnotic astral inductions, he suggested to raise my astral head slightly and look thorough thew my third eye chakra, apparently its a 360 view and I should be able to see my physical head a rest. I think I saw it, but i'm not sure if it was real or just p

art of my good visualization skills. ?
Can anyone out there clarify to me what they believe is going on. I know I will project, there is zero doubt existing in my belief system, but I feel I need a little more info.
Any help from a experienced projector is much appreciated.
so Thank you

There's nothing wrong. You are doing fine. You just have to keep doing it. Have you tried setting alarms at night? I usually wake up naturally throughout the night and this is how most of my projections happen. Try waking up at 3 am and going back to sleep or something like that.
If you see someone in the astral riding around in a red bumper car, it's probably me.

Hi and welcome to the Pulse. Since you are just beginning and have not yet had an intentional projection, give this a try. You are doing a lot of extra work clearing your chakras and raising your kundalini, as well as opening your third eye.

You don't need any more info, you might actually be better off with less. What you need to do, for now anyway, is drop all that extra work. You don't need to know about any of that stuff to have an OOBE. All you need to do is relax by meditating or just plain clearing your mind. Once you reach all those vibration sensations, then you can practice an exiting technique like the rope or rolling over.

After you succeed, then you can decide if chakras, kundalini, and opening your third eye can help you. Many of us have been doing this for years and never practice any of that. Those that do, get a lot of benefit from it and it helps them greatly along their path but I think it's better to wait and see until you have some experiences personally. Then you can decide for yourself what feels right.

Good luck and keep exploring.
It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so.

Hello and Welcome to the Pulse.

It sounds like you are doing great.

But, you seem to be mixing techniques.

If you wish to Phase from a meditative state. Then learn how to Phase.

Xanth has a great e-book to be found here to help you with that. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/39504726/Phasing_Primer.pdf

If you wish to climb out of the body, as in projection, then try to learn that approach.

Edit:

...and all that IAB said there too!  :-D

There are some great stickies here for that one. This one here gives you 66 techniques. http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_astral_consciousness/66_astral_projection_techniques-t37808.0.html

You have to find what's comfortable for YOU, then develop your own technique.

I find visualizing a favorite hobby or pastime, then joining that scene works very well for me.

Thank you for the advice. just so you know I wasn't doing multiple techniques in one particular session. they vary. The transcendental meditation is not done to induce me to astral projection, it's done to clear my mind and chakras. I've been doing that twice daily for some time now. Its separate from my attempts. I'm trying different techniques to see which ones I feel comfortable with. But one thing is for sure, I feel closer and closer every night, no matter which technique applied. I'm just so excited to be out there.

here's a question: Robert Bruce makes it sound (to me anyways) as if projections should only last 30 seconds to a minute or so. I haven't purchased his products but, on his youtube videos, he states that any projection over 30 seconds is usually forgotten is this true? What if the projector has great desire and will to remember and to have 2-3 hour travels? It kind of through me off a little.
