I read chapter 1 of the Michael Raduga School of Out-of-Body Travel A Practical Guidebook and applied the indirect technique to exit the body. I found that I did but it only lasted 1-2 seconds! But it is a start after so many years! Just thought I would share that with my fellow spiritual beings! :-)

Congratulations. Practice makes perfect so I am sure if you are consistent it will better and better every time.
Congrats. Do you care to tell us about the experience itself? With 1 - 2 seconds it's hard to see or tell what a full experience may be like but at least you got a glimpse.
Jolly good show old boy! But what exactly is the indirect method? :?
Good for you! I'm happy for you. :-)
you should try the cell phone techinque got results on my first try
The guy from Saltcube and his videos are the best. He has all of it down to a science. Using the timer works great.
On page 14 of the pdf file, it goes on saying, "Indirect techniques are techniques that are put into practice upon awakening from sleep. The effectiveness of indirect techniques is not dependent on the length of the prerequisite sleep cycle. Indirect techniques can be used while exiting a full night's sleep, after a daytime catnap, or following several hours of deep sleep. The most important thing is that there is a lapse of consciousness into sleep before implementing the techniques."
As far as what I experienced, it wasn't much! One to two seconds tops! I did have color and awareness and visual but it was just real quick perception. I think it was another being acknowledging my presence from a spacial viewpoint! But it was very quick and I would probably have remembered more but my reaction to the experience took some of the time I was aware of the experience. I know when I have an OBE because the perceptions are heightened and stronger and deeper than the physical senses.
This morning I did it again! It was almost timed because I woke, left the body, had the experience, drifted around the body until I woke. And it was timed to wake just a second or two before the alarm clock went off! Almost like knowing the phone rings just seconds before it actually does!
As to the length it lasted was a bit longer than the 1-2 seconds the night before. I would say this one was around 5 seconds and involved the perceptions of visual and audio. No smell or taste but the colors were clear as well as the sound. No sound from the one the night before so I am tuning in to what I can perceive vs. what I am supposed to be perceiving. As to the actual experience I believe it was a few random pictures generated by some spectacular beings! I got these a lot when doing OBE's years ago. Spirits do love to play with energies and I do love energy! :-)

Pls can you explain what you mean by that part pls. Maybe tell a little more on how the brief OBE felt also in terms of clarity also pls. Thankyou.

Well the way I interpret what Michael is saying here is that he goes on saying on page 14 and then 15: "Sleep naturally provides the mind with deep relaxation, which is often difficult to acquire by other methods. Since sleep is required to perform indirect techniques, it is a convenient, oft-occurring means to conduct experiments...". Hope that clears up what he said.
As far as "how the brief OBE felt also in terms of clarity..." I take this from earlier experience leaving the body where the senses are heightened. For instance, the colors as seen from the eyes in the body are as they are. When I visualize things outside the body the colors are; brighter, richer, and they seem rather oversaturate in appearance and hue too. I think that is what things really look like without the hindrance of the body's eyes or faculties. It is hard to describe it but I've often wondered why this was happening until I read in a few places that senses are heightened because you are not using the limitations of the body to view something. Perhaps another can explain this a bit better than I.
