lol, I wouldnt worry about it man. From what I can tell, everyone here is too laid back to worry about it hehe. Interesting question though. Although ive never had a proper OBE I would imagine people would speak in the language they speak in the "physical" world.

I have no idea!  I know that I had an experience where I was speaking a different language, but couldn't understand a word I said, yet the emotions were behind it.   :dont-know:

Well, I supose I might be able to help you...
The answer is simply...None...
One does not speak, only gives the illusion of it...

For instance... I talk to my friend from anouther planet...
I "say" in english, "Hello, How are you?"
They will "hear" in there language "Shais a'kla, Mayiksit?" they will allso see my lips move asthough I am actuly saying that...
and when they say "Ak yith, Mayaitsit?" And I will hear, and see them say "Fine, how are you?"
Now that is only in the higher planes, where there is beings from all over this universe and from others,
In planes such as RTZ where it is pretty much only Humans you will usualy hear the individual language like you would in the physical world but most of the time you will "feel" what they mean... but you will have the rare ocation of hearing them in your own language...
And like with Nay you will allso have experiances of where you actuly speak there language, But most of the time you still know what your saying
Does this help?
{edit} The above words are not writen in a language from earth... Any similarities are purely coincidental...

So these aliens who invented this language use the latin alphabet and restrict themselves to only the syllables that can be pronounced with human vocal chords? Hehe

About language.. I have no idea and I've never thought of it before. AstralBorn's probably right.

No, They did not use the latin alphabet, it is was written phoneticly... but im guessing you where just joking about that?
The sound is restricted to human sound because these particuler beings are highly humanoid... Which is a rare thing...

If I had to make a guess, I think communication happens in a more abstract way when in the astral. Language at it's core is 'meaning' (which we have given) attached to symbols. The symbols are universal, but the syntactic interpretation is usually different from language to language.
All my experience of trying to communicate with people in the RTZ seem to be me communicating with their subconsious.
Perhaps this is why language seems universal in the astral - although we might each interpret the 'symbols' differently based upon our experiences and belief systems.

Although if each persons point of reference is drastically different, perhaps conversation would be quite limited or impossible. I remember Monroe stating in one of his books he met an alien being who communicated through a repetative booming noise (There was no common symbol pool I guess).

okay...

when in the astral your vocal cords dont work, you don't speak...

all communication is through telepathic thought, think it to someone, they "hear" it.

"Well, then explain what I missed..hehehe..hurry! "

Well Nay, In my first post when I explained about how it works I gave an example of talking to one of my friends... Which is not from this planet...
Dingo said "So these aliens who invented this language use the latin alphabet and restrict themselves to only the syllables that can be pronounced with human vocal chords? Hehe"
And so I said that the sound is human as they are humanoid...

???does that explain it???

Right, well ive started a channel on DAlnet, #AstralPulse. So feel free to join   .

For those of you who are interested in joining but dont know how, either download a copy of mIRC or HydraIRC (mirc is probably better for more experienced users, hydra is a lot more basic and easier to use)

Then connect to any DALnet server, once on, you can type /join #AstralPulse

Hello everyone:

From what I can tell, in the astral plane people mostly use non-verbal communication. It's a hard concept to understand using our physical brains, but it makes sense while in the astral.

When someone in the astral communicates with us, we just kinda "know" what they're saying to us, and vice versa.

Best,

Jeni

Hello all again:

Frank posted an excellent description of non-verbal communication in this post:
