I was wondering, can meditation or AP or something help with like trying to "find yourself".  I ask this because I'm in the delema where I'm about half a year out of high school and not really doing anything with myself, plus I don't have much an idea what to do.  So I kinda need some insperation or something to give me a jump start.

Possibly. My advice would be to do what interests you and what you have a great passion for. Sit down and think about it, it is you and only you who will need to make a choice. Once you do come to a decision then start working on it straight away. You cant go wrong doing something you love to do.

Yeah I was in your shoes a little while ago. What I did to help myself had nothing to do with astral projection or anything metaphysical. I read books on how to set goals and live a happy life.  I made a list of my dreams, a list of my goals within a one year period, then daily activites to satisfy the goals.  Some of your dreams should coniside with your goals. You dont need to do inner searching with meditation to realize what makes you happy and what you enjoy doing and where your interests are. I meditate and have OBEs to "find myself" on a more spiritual level, to remember what I was, what I am, why Im here, what possiblities are out there for me. Im constantly learning and exploring in this aspect. The key is to know yourself on both a physical and spiritual level.

All you can do is express youself as honestly as possible. If you want some examples of people who I believe have found themselves I'd recommend the book by Bruce Lee called "Artist of Life". Tupac Shakur as well perhaps. Focus on people who's spirit seems to of lived on after they have died.

While you are searching for you self you are always one step behind it. It is something you need to be, to understand.

Follow your heart my friend. Then you will never walk blindly, or without reason.
