I took a sleeping pill containing valerian root and melatonin last night, soon after lying down in bed the vibrations came on strong, I used the rope technique for a while with no luck, got frustrated and snapped myself out of it.  For the 1 1/2 hours I went in and out of the vibration state pretty much at will simply by laying on my back... no luck projecting, many lucid dreams, falling and floating feelings, strange images and voices... at one point I was sure I had just been speaking to my mother who had entered my room to tell me something.  I even entered the vibration state on my stomach which I have never done before.  I'm not positive but I believe I even was able to move while in the vibration state without snapping out of it, although if I chose to snap out I could.  I'm not sure what's going on, sometimes I enter the vibration state before my body is relaxed enough, I know when this happens because it is rather painful,  part of my body feels like it's shuddering, like one of my chakras is a sputtering engine.  Normally, if I go into the vibration state I only get one crack at it, usually fail to project, then have to wait many nights for the vibrations to come on again.  I theorize last night was different because of the valerian or melatonin, anyone have any ideas?

The pill might have made a difference. I have to say though that what you describe is what happens to me on a not irregular basis. I've counted at least 6 seperate bouts of vibrations at times. All angles positions and 'pains', like you I assume they are chakra blockages. I am also sure it is possible to move during projection without blowing it. When you swing your limbs around you know they are projected, but when you manage stiff movements then I am sure you are moving a bit. It's not something I can prove either way, but just have the feeling I can move and it's not astral body movement.

All this without any medication whatsoever. So it is possible the pill was coincidental, maybe it had some kind of effect where it kept you in a state between wake and sleep longer than normal and you were able to witness succesive sets of vibes?

Getting stuck -  too eager, too much in a hurry? Don't know, I have never sussed out why it is effortless sometimes and impossible others.

Yours could be a "copy & paste" text from me. Really the same has been happenning to me for some time. Lots of vibrations and exit sensations but not really moving around at all. Painful sometimes too, more than painful, rather awfull feeling of vibrations when semi conscient...Might be this chackra locking, but I would´t obsess about it. That´s the best I can tell you. To obsess will just simply not help, quite the opposite. I´ve found vibrations have been nicer when I´ve been more relaxed and in better peace with myself.
All will come by itself

This has been an ongoing problem with me the past 2 weeks. I managed to get vibrations about 3 weeks ago (when I began actively practicing) and haven't been able to exit. Closest I've come to anything interesting happening is seeing green puddles whilst my eyes are closed. Energy work continues as normal.
I tried something silly a while ago and that was working on my brow chakra before conditioning other points. That resulted in headaches but I continued anyway and all pain has ceased since then.

I'm trying numerous exit methods atm none of which have given me any real success so far though I'm going to try something different during my next session. Any more than half an hour and I find myself almost entirely immersed in a dream but I snap out of it as I seem to respond verbally to events that are happening during the experience be it something I laugh at or a question I reply to.

One other thing I'm going to put down here is that when vibrations are present and I focus on my brow chakra they get much stronger. It's hard to keep that awareness without having to concentrate which, in turn, is counter productive from what I've read.

Problem is that traffic wakes me up and so I use earplugs. If it's in the morning (after I awake) then I put on a blindfold and try to resync with the astral body/instance without having to deal with the visible light density.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm obviously doing something wrong after all.
