Hi Ashfo,

I've never heard of lenation, but it does sound very cool indeed. In my opinion, anything "supernatural" is somehow related to energy. So, try the NEW system first and I'm sure that you will soon notice (unexpected) results. Personally, I found AD very interesting and last night... No, I won't tell, 'cause I'm supersticious. But... Results!! :)

Some people call it phasing as well but it is basically a form of pre-cognition (SP?).  Where you see things before they happen.   But this is not like most of the time were you may see something but don't know when or it is a day or two off but rather it is more current.  Looking into the next minute or 30 secounds so to speak.  Like the slow motion button on the VCR (or DVD if you perfer).
It is actually fairly common among people who fight alot, although they may not know they are doing it.   That's why some people seem to have better reflexes.

thanks for your replies...do either of you have rescources on how to improve phasing/lenation?

thanks,

Sorry to be off-topic here, but can somebody tell me if "phasing" also refer to going through things (i.e. going through a wall whilst OBE'ing)? The only reason why I ask is because I've been using this term for awhile, and I don't want to use it incorrectly.

Thank you! :)

Phase (n.) Any one point or portion in a recurring series of changes, as in the changes of motion of one of the particles constituting a wave or vibration; one portion of a series of such changes, in distinction from a contrasted portion, as the portion on one side of a position of equilibrium, in contrast with that on the opposite side.

If two things are happening in/out of phase they are reaching the same or related stages at the same time/at different times.

There are many definitions and uses for the word and it is correct pending the aplication.

Yes, you can phase through some thing, or assume the physical location as some thing else.

This also applies to time, chemistry, cycles, and so.

--As far as knowing how to do this I do not.  I don't have any resources as which to provide help either.  Just some scientific data and such.  Try looking up "The Philidelphia Experiment"  if I am remembering it correctly.  But basically they took this huge ship and rigged it with gigantic electromagnets I think.  They were attempting to make some sort of cloaking device.  It droped off the radar all right.  It actually dropped out of time and when it came back most every one was dead.  They became part of the ship.  I do not think that there were any survivors.  Some were alive but did not live long because the were half in bulk heads, tables, chairs, you name it and they could not be seperated from them.  Such is the danges of changing what time frame you are in through mechanical means.

Thank you for the definition. :-)

The Philidelphia Experiment is a very interesting story. I've heard about in on the Art Bell show before.

As far as the original topic goes, has anyone here studied Tai Chi? It's a martial art where you practice your moves in "slow motion." I don't know much about it, but it's sorta along the lines of what Ashfo was saying.

I've would like to study it, but my exercise plate is full at this moment. :-( All in good time...

This is all very fascinating...

Take care,

Jeni

As the power of the human mind is demonstrated to me every second, every day, I'd fully believe Lenation/phasing is possible, in fact, I think I do it on a small scale sometimes. My advice for learning/improving this skill would be:

First believe you can do it, I can never stress this enough. As you think, your world is created. Second, start off small and practice, practice, practice. My favorite reflex trick is to have someone hold a dollar bill so it hangs down, the long way. I'll put my fingers on both sides of it, but not touching. The goal is to catch the bill when your friend drops it. Sounds easy, but it's not.

People underestimate what they can do, because their programming lies to them. Get into the Jedi mindset. Hear Morpheus teaching Neo kung fu. Whatever it is you have to use, get into the mindset that you can slow down the passage of time in your mind.

On a related note, I heard that on the Astral and higher planes you can slow down time, sometimes with interesting results. Robert Monroe reported having an OBE that lasted 400 years subjectively, but only 20 minutes in realtime.

Best of luck!

Heh, thanks for those ideas bitsmart.. theyre better than one reply I got from another forum - he suggested buying a paintball gun and mask and having your friend shoot paintballs at you while you try to catch them in a baseball glove.

Lenation is a term given to this art on another website I visited, I dont know if there is a more commonly used term or not, but basically "lenation" is the art of slowing down times passage in your mind... I was told by one person that he could slow down enough to see the individual frames of a movie and commented that he was a boxer and that it helped him tremendously.. as you could imagine.

Anyone know about this, heard about this, have any references on this?

I doubt it as Im pretty sure its fairly unknown, but if you do have something please post.
