I'm not talking about slayer or something lol.

Let's say I put this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yRgiXh2fP4 on repeat. Do you think I could still achieve an OBE listening to something like that as long as it's not to loud etc?

Oh probably, if it's something you can sort meditate to then it'd be fine. I used Kingdom Hearts music before (I forget what track) to meditate to. Actually one of my best meditation. Pretty sure i experienced my first vision. Though, yeah, it should work. I believe  I myself have listened to various pieces of music when i was practicing projection. :-)

Enya is great meditation music. You normally want just instrumental, no vocal though, but Chanting is good too. Many people use Binaural Beats for meditation, it's kind of like cheating though because it uses Brainwave Entrainment to get you to Alpha, Beta and Theta frequencies to get you to the desired state. I have just recently stopped using Binaural Beats when I Phase, I have in the past used them with great success for over 5 months now. But, could never hear Astral Sounds. Since I have stopped the Bin Beats I can hear voices and all kinds of strange and unique things.
Good Luck  :-)

Thank you both very much. :)

I just ran into that song and was like... how great would it be to project to that? Very amazing piece of music.

@fade that's cool you experienced your first vision. I had one not to long ago and began to get buzzing sensations but I snapped out of it. It's a cool experience. :-)

@Lionheart I too have heard voices. Some even shouting my name. I have heard alot of it is your subconcious? I remember posting a topic on here... let me check and see if I can find it really quick. (Couldn't find it.) But I have heard a barking noise, not really like a dog though. Sounded more like a human grunt. I heard a women scream once right before projecting and scared the living heck out of me. I forgot who it was but I was told it was just my subconscious. But there are times where I really feel I can hear other entities saying something to me. One I remember my name being shouted. I also remember I kept hitting my snooze button on my alarm clock and I got that falling sensation and heard a lady say, "You can get up now!" It scared me at the time... so I said..."Alrighty I am up!" lol. I don't think this would bother me anymore because now I know what is going on.

Does your energy body hear the physical world? Like would you be in the astral realm hearing the music but not being able to turn it off?

I'm curious because I sometimes listen to music but when it turns off it wakes me up.

ArmyOfOne, if you wish some really relaxing meditation and Binaural Beats try Paul Collier. This is a link to his entire playlists on You Tube. My favorites here are 2012, Defragmenting the mind, Song 54 and Taken Up Into The Sky. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5ox2GzWnJw&feature=BFa&list=PL48627FA5F1896833&lf=results_main
Enjoy!  :-)

mrrandom- I am not sure! I have had dreams though where I will hear my TV playing, and whatever the TV is doing or saying, like people speaking etc... somehow converts into what I am dreaming. I remember one time I was watching some funny movie and quotes that happened within the movie happened in my dream the moment they were said. It was the weirdest thing... It would actually "Change" my dream.

Lionheart- Thank you so much! Should I use headphones to listen while meditating? EDIT: I just meditated to the defragmenting the mind and I think I came extremely close to leaving the body. That felt AMAZING.  :-D  just wish it was a little longer. Like 30 minutes would be perfect!

I listen to 2012, Defragment, Song 54 and Taken up in the Sky back to back. This fills a void of about 25 minutes which is much better. They kind of lead into one another too. Headphones are a must with Binaural Beats but not with Isochronic Tones.
Good Luck  :-)

Thanks! I wonder why the beats helped so much. Do you know what they do to your brain while you listen?

Binaural Beats never did a thing for me. You achieve results by putting your mind in a certain state, not your brain. Once your in a deep state of meditation your brainwaves will be at a certain frequency. PLaying the frequency on your ipod and listening to it with headphones wont put you in that same meditative stat..

They only assist you in attaining an altered state of consciousness.  You've gotta do most of the work yourself... it just makes that work SLIGHTLY easier.
