I had an experience

Hi everyone,

Fifteen years ago I was in my bedroom and I was having a restless night. I remember every time I would begin to fall asleep I would hear and feel this intense static noise and it would scare me to the point I would be wide awake. I kept trying to sleep but it would happen again and again and wake me every time. I was so tired that I finally slipped into some strange place between being awake and being asleep. I never gave it much thought until a month ago when I purposely began trying to control my decent into sleep. I very quickly reached the point where I heard and felt the static noise and then would hover just above the line awake. I finally told myself I wanted this and there was nothing to be afraid of. So I let the static vibrations continue until I found myself asleep but awake. I was clearly in my body but detached from the surface. The bizarre thing is without even thinking about it my spirit rolled over in my body. I was cognitive of this whole process and I wanted to float above my body. It was dark in my room but I was clearly in a space that seemed like a dream but I was 100% awake.

Now for the shocker...The other night I was practicing this decent again and something crazy happened. I found myself detached and I found myself traveling to the light switches all over my house to turn them on because it was dark. The blackness was a rich black I have never seen or comprehended but there was light in the walls like energy patterns...like a synaptic pattern moving through the walls. I found myself instantly in my sons room and his walls were electric with light patterns almost statically discharging between groups of energy. I reached my hand forward and touched the wall and the electricity immediately moved to my hand and was absorbed by me through my outreached arm. I woke immediately but know that what ever it was I experinced it was not of this dimension I live in now. The colors were so rich and so vibrant. The whole experience is so indelibly impressed in my mind I will never forget it.

Now I want to do this every night. It has become a new frontier for me. I would greatly appreciate a mentor or someone who could guide me. I am ready to go beyond any religious boundaries and embark on a journey.

P.S. I did notice that the day following the night experiences on both occasions left me feeling disconnected. It scared me a little because I felt like my psyche could have been shocked by the experience.

I know how that feels...what a crazy experience! It's always good to start of by reading some material by experienced authors, like Robert Monroe, Robert Peterson and Robert Bruce just to name a few.

I usually feel drained the next day after having fully cognisant experience! It must use a lot of energy to have the full blown OBEs that we like so much.

I am the opposite after projecting for 10-15mins and returning.. It's like giving me million dollars when I return... Energy is flowing, adrenalene, blood, spirit...

I think the tiredness some people experience in OBE is because of the amount of energy they burn in trying to control it... I find the same thing when doing psychic-counselling if I try to do it my way. But, if I just let it flow I always get a high.... later on of course you then must expect the balancing effect of needing a granny nap... or maybe I'm just getting old and need regular granny naps, lol.

Same applies to journeying either Astrally or just with awareness, when I try to control what happens I wear myself out, but when I flow with what presents to me, then I always feel uplifted afterwards.

Cool experience, but I too am the opposite! I always feel a complete sense of peace upon awakening after a projection, I always feel crazily energetic the next morning/evening or whatever.

I always feel as if i've shed any troubles or tension.
