Hey Fat_Turkey , you know me from messenger .. either Zarklon , or Astral Pimp :)

I'm at the state you are in man .. I sometimes dont have a single OBE for 2 months straight.  I will get to the point where my body feels heavy and I'll even feel dizzy or it will feel like I just "zoomed out" a little.  It feels almost as if a part of me has been sucked out the back of my head and is watching the blackness of my eyelids from there instead of the blackness from my physical head.. Yet when I open my eyes , I'm still in my physical body.  Dream imagery is stong at that point and I either turn over and fall asleep or remain on my back and fall asleep all the same.

I have no idea where to go for advice at this point.. lots of people some to me for advice and I help them onto their first OBEs or past their dry progress.. this is where my path is rubbed out and I'm trying to figure out what to do about the whole dwindling conciousness thing.
Loving yourself first is the most important step you must take before you can truly love someone else.

Feel free to ask me anything. I'll try to offer advice if I can.

Hmm when im in this state my legs and/or arms usualy sinks into my bed, then maby they rise. Additionaly, my arms float up (astral arms as im told). Have you experienced this? Its a very cool feeling. For you people that AP'd, should I do rope tech when my astral arms are floated up?

Hi FT,
First time I saw your Nic, I laughed so hard it hurt.  After living in your country I could easily imagine hearing a guy call someone that, in a friendly/joke way.  I'm rambling here.

When I no longer feel my physical body it is because awareness has slipped/moved completely to 'there'.  At the same time, I don't bother with RTZ or any of that... just go where I need to or Intend to.  This can slow the dissolving of feeling the body, but it bypasses the denser realms.

The funniest thing about OBE is that we use so many different techniques to do what is natural.  Our techniques require us to control certain things, breath, visualization etc.  While we can use all these things to bring us to the verge, we must then let go of 'having to have' the control and just flow with it.

So, I think not feeling the body is just a normal thing, part of your process.  Do you have an intention in mind before practicing ?  You know, something you want to look at or understand.  I focus on my intention and let the rest happen naturally once I am ready.

And if we think about these difficulties too much we can create further difficulties.... we're real good at that.

Anyway, hope you sort it and enjoy.

Love Always.[:)]

Perhaps it's due to a sleep deficit?

Okay, the typical Robert Bruce routine for OBE.

I lay down, get all relaxed. I feel the familiar relaxation of trance setting on. I get to a certain level where I start to lose my awareness of my body. I can't use the rope or bounce my energy properly...I can't feel the energy! I get lost in a swamp of random images, and gradually fall into a light sleep...

This is the typical thing that happens to me. Maybe I need more practice in the trance state, more energy body development...I don't know. Either way, the loss of awareness thing is annoying, and I don't know if it's a positive or negative thing, sign of progress, or why it even happens....

Anybody care to fill me in?

Thanks[|)]

No amount of rigorous training, sitting and doing nothing, and clearing one's mind can help a man who hasn't overcome his doubts.
