lost and confused

Hello everybody, I am new at atral projection, I have had them a couple of times before, but I have only recently learned what they are.  I have been reading "Astral Dynamics" so that I learn more about obe. I have just joined this community so that I can meet new people who are interested in astral projection.
    I was wanting to ask a question.  I had an obe last night, but when I left my body, I began to rise up slowly while looking at the room around me, but I lost control and rose up very quickly through my roof and on up through the clouds at a very high rate of speed, almost instantly.  The next thing I can remember is being in a room that was all white, the floors, ceiling, walls, there were even people walking around in white clothes.  I noticed four men sitting down at two different tables, at one of the tables the men were playing cards, and at the next table they were playing dominoes.  
    What is confusing to me about this is that I know I was having an obe to begin with, but what about the white room? It must have been a dream, but it felt so real, the people looked so real, I could hear them talk to each other.
    Has anyone ever started out having an obe, fall asleep in the middle of it, and began to have dreams?
