The difference is you are more aware of where you are and what you can do in an OBE, but its the same place.
Let's just say the only lucid dream I ever had was one where I "awoke" in my bedroom and realized I was still in a dream... spent a few mins (or so it seemed) trying to "get back in my body/fall asleep again" (it was a bit of both, you know how dreams are) so I could wake up normally. Unable to do this I became rather annoyed as I figured I would be "stuck in the dreamworld forever!".. needless to say I wasn't but it was quite a frightening experience, freakiest dream I ever had, thought of being stuck asleep forever.
Figured it was a lucid dream but was unable to really alter anything.. just wandered around my house a bit..
Afterwards, started reading up on lucid dreams and OBEs and wondering if it was just a dream or OBE or if there really is any difference between the two in your opinions?
I guess it really shouldn't matter to me whether it was "just a dream" or an OBE, spose I'm just curious :D
(and how many times do you guys get this question a day anyway? :D I apologize for my n00bishness, please don't kill me :p.. oh and I found these forums through a google search so if this is offtopic or something, again I apologize)
