Title: Lucidity in OBE vs. LD.
Post by: Jeff_Mash on August 06, 2002, 08:52:47
Well, I know for me, sometimes it is tough to maintain lucidity in my OBE's, simply because most of us have been programmed to let our awareness drift off and simply fall asleep.  It has taken me some effort to maintain control and not let myself:

a) Drift off to sleep
b) Get too excited and lose the experience

However, once I am OBE and I'm charged up with a high amount of energy, I can usually interact and function without much effort.  It's only once I get out that I have to increase my clarity and lucidity to a certain point.  Once I reach that point, I freely move around and start my journey.

Meditation and working on concentration will help alot. If you can do it on the physical it will make it easier to do it on the astral and prolong your experiences.

I work on having lucid dreams (LD),
and I find it realy hard to maintain lucidity during the LD.

I was wondering, how easy\hard it it to maintain lucidity during an OBE?
Is it easyer than a lucid dream?

Thanks in advance.
