Manipulate physical world while in Astral?

I was wondering if it was possible for someone to manipulate the physical world while they are astral projecting. In other words can you touch and make objects move that exist in the physical world with your astral body? Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that ghosts and spirits exist in the astral realm, and they can at times manipulate the physical world, so I was wondering if it was possible for someone astral projecting to do the same thing. If not then why can a ghost/spirit do it but an astral projector can't?

While probably possible, I have so far never heard of anyone being able to manipulate the physical while projecting. If doable, it's probably done in the same or a similar way as pk.

The theory goes like this: only in the lowest realm of the astral, the etheric plane, and gathering enough energy and willpower, you can move a physical thing. That's how spectrums appear and enchanted houses can be explained.

But, in the other hand, while in the astral you can create a form. If you give it sufficient energy and maintains it for a long enough period this form will tend to settle down in the physical in some way. So if you create a jar, for example, that jar will eventually get to you in the physical (not materializing from the emptyness, but receiving it in some way).

That's one of the basis of creative visualization techniques.

When I did a course, years ago my teacher said that she'd have a rose materialize from time to time. She said that was a gift from some friends of hers, although I can't prove this I knew her well enough to know she wasn't b/sing me  Also when I used to live in digs I was sitting in the house alone, all the widows were shut(So no breeze) A wire coat hanger started swinging vigorously on a curtain pole, where it'd been left. It was like someone had given it a good tap to get it rocking. It wasn't me trying to do it, so I can only conclude someone was trying to get my attention
