Title: Many questions, one at a time . . .
Post by: Rakon on July 17, 2004, 05:14:32
It is possible to have an OBE while someone else is in the room, but it is extremely difficult because your mind will be interested in what is going on and it will probably ruin your concentration. Our mind is always running, it's trying to keep us informed about what is going on. It's difficult enough calming it without having someone in your room. You should find some place quiet when you try to have an OBE.

Your body would call you back if the person in your room was doing something noisy. Nobody ever interrupted my OBEs but I think that you couldn't resist being pulled back. It's just like with sleeping: If someone is smashing windows while you sleep, you'll probably wake up.

I've been married 17 years, trust me it's much easier alone.  Most of my OOBE's occure on Sat/Sun mornings when I slept in and my wife ws up at work or doing something outside the house (she's sort of noisey in the morning).

Someone coming into the room will snap me back, but my wife sleeping in the room doesn't affect me (unless she's snoring at the time, or thrashing about in her sleep {happens when I do certain high energy work sometimes, but shes subconciously used to it by no})

Interesting question, I have had one experience where my friend layed 4 ft away from me as i was spliting, i heard him say "hey man, get up" and got the impresion that he wanted me to wake up, so i woke up and asked him, he was busy watching tv, i asked him if he said any thing and he said no, interesting still.

People often hear voices while projecting. I even felt my mother shaking me and calling my name. Someone said, Rober Bruce I think, that these voices are entities trying to stop us from getting out, because they know how much more powerful we are than them.
I'm not sure about that...

Thank you for the information.

Question 2:

Has anyone ever tried projecting outside? Is this wise/safe/possible/easier/etc.?

Question one: Is it possble to have an OBE with someone else in the room? I mean this with someone actually doing something, like typing on the computer/wating television/eating popcorn/talking (in)directly to you/etc.

Adding on to this question, if you were OBE without anyone in the room, would your body "call" you back if someone were to enter? If so, would there be a way to stopping the pull, say convincing your body that the person isn't there? If so, would this be safe? Would it be better to convice your body that the person in the room will not harm you? Or should you just leave well enough alone and go back to your body?

And a little more add on so that I don't fill up with too many questions (I had a lot more, but I'll wait before asking the rest [|)]) what about animals? If you had a couple of, say, cats in your room, play-fighting, would that disrupt achieving an OBE?

Appreciate feedback . . .
