I would suggest "Journeys out of the body" by Robert Monroe.it was written around 1970, and it's THE classic in the subject of astral travel.it also contains some great exercises, which worked for me.

zecharia sitchin's 'the 12th planet'. only about $7 or $8, and it'll open you up to a lot of things you'd probably never realize on your own. it's the first installment of the earth chronicles.
What is the sound of no leaves cloving?

I would suggest reading all of Bruce Moen's books on Afterlife. I also like the Cosmic Journeys - Rosalind McKnight. She's got terrific spirit guides and one of the pioneers in TMI (The Monroe Institute).

All of Robert Monroe's books. Also, I've read the first two of Bruce Moen's works and they were very good. If you're interested in different writers on out of body experiences take a look also at the books of William Buhlman and Robert Peterson. A classic is The Projection of the Astral Body by Muldoon and Carrington.

I suggest taking a trip over to amazon.com and searching for books that interest you.

Reading D Scott Rogo's 'Leaving The Body' is definately worthwhile. Rogo discusses 10 or 11 different techniques for leaving the body. He goes into great detail and devotes an entire chapter to each technique.

three more books that are interesting to add to the list the three top to add more onto robert's book are:

1. psychic self defense by robert bruce
2. Exploring The World of Lucid Dreaming By Steven Laberge (loads of researched dream techniques and being aware in dreams)
3. Experiencing Astral Travel 8 Week Course ISBN:0974056006 only available at amazon.com
4. Tibetan Yoga of Dream and Sleep

so #1 sort of extends on robert's book, #2 is amazing on the techniques you can use the probability of them happening are given and #3 is really good if you don't know what ego's/awareness is give you more of an edge on ap's if you haven't had one yet actually #2 and #3 will give you an edge.  #4 is interesting to read.

Hey all! [:D]

I have to agree with stefni. Cosmic Journeys and all of Moen's books are fabulous. If I were you I'd get Cosmic Journeys righ away.

Take care.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of books I should buy.  I already own astral dynamics and am a beginner at that, but I have money to spend and I don't want to waste it on games.
