Would this be more of a topic for healing??? Anyone's opinion??

I'm not sure from a metaphysical stand point. But I would say she might have a problem with her pineal gland.

Pineal Gland Disfunction: Eye problems and Headaches/Migranes

quote:
Until a few decades ago scant attention was paid to the pineal gland. Then came the case, noted by Dr. Berman, in which a child was brought to a German clinic suffering from eye trouble and headaches. He was five years old and very mature, and apparently had reached the age of adolescence. He was abnormally bright mentally, discussing metaphysical and spiritual subjects. He was strongly group-conscious and only happy when sharing what he had with others. After his arrival at the clinic, he rapidly grew worse and died in a month. An autopsy showed a tumor of the pineal gland.
- Berman, Louis, M.D., The Glands Regulating Personality, p. 89.

Also the pineal gland is believed to be important for experiencing OBE's. So maybe that?

Everything I've read about kundalini raising says it requires countless hours and dedication to raise, and it feels like a giant snake is twisting from your base chakra all the way to the crown. Not sure how you could raise it just part of the way...?

Do you have any reason at all to think that this thing should have anything to do whit kundalini ? Becaus it seemes to me like a veary weird assumption.why could they not simply have had ordinary migraines? and from whom have you heard  that the woman energy body would be other than that of a man ?

To Damballah: Oh, well I was just considering it, mostly because of the fibromyalgia and perhaps some of the kundalini energy might get stuck in the head if she wasn't aware of it (from a metaphysical point). Oh, and when I said women are more complicated, I was referring purely to the physical body, which I do believe is more complicated due to the complications with child birth. The energy body is probably just as intricate in man or woman.

To Steel Hawk: As far as kundalini goes though it is possible for it only to be partly aroused, and in rare cases to have been awakened spontaneously. Usually because of some sort of trauma. My friend was diagnosed with fibromyalgia after a knee injury which sounded pretty serious. But as far as I have read, kundalini is another form of energy. I imagine it could be present in varying amounts and degrees, not always just full blown awakening, which is the description of the snake rising. I mean, logic tells us it has to get from point A to point B. Anyway, the kundalini cause is probably most far fetched, just a thought.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion about the Pineal Gland. I will defidently look into that.

Thanks for your comments and suggestions!

I know two people who have serious headache/migraine problems. I asked if they had ever had obe's and they both replied yes. One said that they happened two ways. During her blackouts and when she's lying down with a cold damp cloth on her face.

My guess, especially when she's just lying still waiting for the pain to go away, is that she enters a trance and the migraine is enough to disorient her and trigger the exit.

I am curious if anyone else has had experiences with migraines causing obe's, and more importantly any advice. It would be nice if they were able to embrace the obe side-effect as a gift and figure out how to stop the pain.

Both of these friends are women, which apparently have much more complex bodies than us men... and I believe that the migraine and perhaps some other related illnesses run in their family. One of them has also been diagnoised with fibromyalgia and I'm half suspecting a partial kundalini awakening.

I'm very interested in any comments, experiences, or advice anyone is willing to give.
