Going thru window, only to end up back in my room?

Damn, that thing happened to me quite a few times too! I don't know for sure why, maybe I was too anxious to go and explore outside... there are times I can't get to go anywhere, I find myself stuck in weird places and I can only fly around that limited space. Sometimes I have to go out through the window more than 3 times in a row as I find myself still in my room.

It seems that when we're crazy to do something there is always something else to keep us from going further. People who are crazy to go and fly may find someone holding their legs just after they start rising. Or when we're having a nightmare and want to run away from the danger as fast as possible our movements become slow. I guess it's best to be care-free.

I think most people have a good bit of fake imagery, my last projection I loked back at my bed, I knew i was having an obe because there was no ne on my side of the bed, it was only after i woke up that i realized the fault of my logic. Possible causes: 1)lack of concentration,2) moving too fast to really pay attention(a variation of #1-when obe do you really stop to look and think about what you see?)
What happened next? Did you not realize your situation till you woke?
In the world in general and in this nation
May not even the names disease, famine, war, and suffering be heard.
May virtuous qualities, merit, and prosperity greatly increase
And may continuous good fortune and subline well-being perfectly arise.

Hey you all!

Great topic.

I can relate AndrewTheSinger. I have been anxious for the past few days to project. I find that my anxiousness overshadows my ability to relax many times! [:O] I think it IS best to be care-free.

Please share your methods of projection.

I had a separation Sunday, and what I did was go to sleep at 12 AM. I was going to practice at that time but ended up being lazy. I set my alarm for 5 AM and then went straight into counting from 50-1 when the alarm woke me up. As I counted the separation happened, and I was astrally thrust out of my body.

What techniques or methods did you all use to project???

Sincerely,

Celestial Sounds.

Thank you for your replies! :)

My training consists of energy work (NEW) and meditation. To induce an OBE, I usually pull one out of a dream. I do this by focusing on some element of a dream - be it a clolour, shape, object, sound or person - and keep the focus until the dream scenery fades away. I'll then find myself in in either the astral proper, real time zone or a lucid dream (or a combination of the three). Usually I end up in the real time zone, with some distortions.

Sometimes I spontaneously find myself out of body, but it's usually after I did some kind of training prior to that morning.

Hello Kodemaster, I wonder if you still have problems going out through the window.

Yesterday it happened to me again but today it didn't, and I noticed it was because I fully opened the window this time. I took the time to open it completely so that I could have a good view, and then I went out through it without any problems. Perhaps it has something to do with doing things incompletely. It seems that if you don't conclude something you started it's like you never did it at all. The halfway feels unstable and stuff. Just a thought.

Hey sweet celestial sounds, forgive me I never noticed you were also asking me about the technique. What I do is to fall asleep thinking about something, maybe some music, a sequence of images (like a cartoon animation), something that involves me in a creative mental activity in such a way that I diminish my attention to the outside world. After awhile doing this I feel in trance, and then I apply some technique for separation inducing the feeling of motion, usually the spin, or I just try to feel myself floating away from my body.

For lucid dreaming I just keep going with the imagery and then step into the scene by interacting with them.

Hey AndrewTheSinger! [:D]

Thank you so much for mentioning. Thanks. [:).

Lately I have been visualizing myself into the astral, as you stated with going with the imagery, but visualizing a place I want to go or have been to instead...

For etheric I have been lying down and relaxing into my eyelids, or into relaxing or into sleep, until separation happens. Then I can move. I'm still working on the moving part, for I am a natural at astral, but need to work on my etheric.

Thank you for sharing friend. [:D]

Hi guys,

About 2 weeks ago, I had an OBE. It was one of the clearest OBE's I've ever had. However, after my first minor distortion snuck in, I went back to my room and went through the window. However, instead of going outside, I was inside again!

The shades were closed, therefore I know I was not seeing a relection of my room (I've read about that phenomenon).

Any ideas? (I can post the entire story if you'd like to read it).

Take care,
JenX
