Well, after 2 straight months (and about 2 others before) I finally had a fully conscious projection last night. Ironically, I was trying to sleep, not project, but it happened anyway. I was trying to sleep, but I got close to SP twice on accident. When I woke up I wrote down all that I could remember, which was a majority of the experience. So, here is the original manuscript (written at 3:30am), in first person present.

"After falling asleep, I suddenly feel like my entire being is coursing with energy, and I decide to go with it. It gets so intense that my teeth start sparking with electricity. And then I'm out. I look around, and it is my room in Chicago. It is dark, but I can still see well. I try to grab onto the desk, but my had slips right through. I continue to sink through the floor (it all feels fantastic and indescribable), and after about 30 seconds it goes black and I return to electricity. The current is so strong that it feels like I have about 1000 volts and several amps flowing through my teeth and arcing across the gap between my head and my jaw.

Second exit: I float across my room and through my door, and then around the corners and down into the living room. I have more control,; I'm getting my wings. I see a strangely young and contorted body at the table, but I ignore it for the time being. Then, I try zooming out my front door. The instant I go through the door, it all goes black again. As I return to electricity once again, I find that it makes the sensation better if I open my jaw so it doesn't arc so much.

Third exit: This time, my mother is awake and asks me something when I float down to the kitchen; I ignore her, and successfully pass through the front door. It is a sort of twilight outside; it's dark and yet lighter than inside. My mother has joined me outside and is talking to me, but I don't respond. I remember and try the hand-rubbing technique that I saw on the Pulse, and it works wonderfully. I also vocalize "Clarity, now!" and everything becomes more defined and clearer. I then think to actually inspect my hands, and I am astonished at them. Instead of 5 fingers, I have 7 or 8 on each hand, and some of them are double-jointed and pointing backwards. I then pick up a rock from the side of our driveway (it's about baseball sized, but doesn't seem to weigh much) and throw it to test my strength in the Astral. Is ails to the next steet and almost hits a construction worker in blue jeans, yellow safety vest, and helmet, and he yells "Hey, keep your rocks under control!" (This is a real life distance of 50-75 feet, and I wasn't even throwing as hard as I could, because I was afraid I might throw myself out of the Astral if I did!) Next, IU flew up to the roof of the house, and then everything goes black again, and I am back in my buzzing body.

Fourth exit: I decide to fly out of the atmosphere once I get outside. A cloudy mist makes a face-like shape as I ascend, and then disappears. As I leave Earth, I can see everything...Stars, continenets, the moon...Mindblowing. Just the feeling of gliding around silently on land was amazing, but this was better. There are really no words I can think of to describe what I felt in my body as I zoomed around. After I pass the moon, I get pulled back and accelerate towards the surface. I stop right before I enter the atmosphere, and I can see white rings of light around me slowly descending, like guidance rings in a flying video game. I zoom back out for a last hurrah (as I know my time is almost up), and I get even farther out, but one of the planets I pass explodes, which in turn detonates all the other planets, namely the Moon and the Earth. As this occurs, I suddenly hear a gigantic chorus singing a single discordant destruction chord (it's the only thing I can think of to describe it). I fly back towards Earth and slam into my body in my dark room. I wake up shouting "nnnooooOOOOO!..." with increasing volume along with some other phrase, whirling the blankets around me as I land on the floor. I grab the back of the chair at my desk and lean my head against it to calm myself. My heart is beating furiously and I can't help but think I must have woken my parents up.

But it's not over yet.

After a minute or so of resting there, I wake up in my real body in the real world in the same position that I left it. It was an Inception, a projection from a dream.

Finally, after a very long time of getting close and failing, I have had a real, awesome, incredible out of body experience."

*A last note of interest: My parents are about to move, and there were all kinds of boxes in my room, a couple of mattresses in the living room, as well as a moved table. In the projection, every room was put back like normal.

So yeah, thanks for reading! I would appreciate any advice you guys have, of course. :D

Edit: One of my new year's resolutions was to have an OBE, and I can check that one off the list now!  :-D

Interesting reading. I understand it as you projected four times a row this day. That must have felt good from "nothing" to be able to fly through the atmosphere.
When you say "zooming" I assume you are referring to simply "think about it".

"You're crazy, that was just a good dream" Get ready to hear that as I'm sure you'll want to tell some friends about your new enlightenment. But first of all, a congratulations is in order. I've never felt the electric feelings as intensely as you've described during a projection but I almost never fight the feeling when it's time to go. I was actually admonished once for complaining about not wanting to leave and took it as a lesson that when it's time to go, it's time to go. But I'm way too literal sometimes.

Anyways, I hope the next time you actually try to project that it is just as easy for you. I hope you're prepared for some changes (all good, of course) and welcome to the club.
It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so.

Thanks!

And yes, I just thought and I could glide around or fly. It was so cool!!

Every time I think about it, I can't help but smile.
