Months and month of nothing.

Ive been trying for ages.. And i get nothing ive read the books, know the techniques it just dont come.. Ive had AP when i was a kid the infmous

Mom: wake up.

And i go through my entire routiene to only be woke up by her again and replying i am up then relise i was not.

I think ive narrowed it down the urge to move is whats killing me...
if i get past that i have breathing problems or i somehoe even tryng to keep my eyes shut they come open and ruin the whole thing.

I dont sleep well to start so heh and it usually takes me 2 hours to sleep...

Any tips appreciated.

It may not be the greatest of advice... but its what worked for me>>

When I first started out trying to project and whatnot, I tried all the methods out there like ROPE, for example.  After a month or so I gave it a break, but continued to do Robert Bruce's New Energy Ways.  So a session for me would be laying down in my bed doing NEW and then just mind clearing mediation  back and forth between the two as long as I could.  Often I would fall asleep and then continue upon waking.  Sometimes I'd get sick of it after some time and just stop.  Projection was still constantly on my mind I just really wasn't trying to do it as much as before.  Then recently I found that suddenly when I was wavering in between sleep and awake suddenly the projection symptoms would come on by themselves.  

I'm sure you've heard it before, but really just letting it go can help.  Think about it a lot, keep it on your mind.... but just relax.   You're probably familiar with NEW, but if you're not... I think that's mostly what did it for me.  I now practice it everyday for quite sometime... I can pretty much give myself what feels like a full body massage from it - i love it.   And now nearly every time I sit down and take 15 mins to do it I get projection symptoms... heavy ones(still not using a real method).

I dunno, maybe it'll help somewhat.  Pretty basic stuff I know, did it for me though.  

Maybe let us know really what kind of things you've been trying?

hmm, about breathing problems, please dont try AP while in supine position,
try to sleep in left lateral position, and, I am sure it will help in reducing that '2 hours to sleep thing'

lol Swaroop, funny, I've seen you on astralsociety as well - Loved your work by the way. I think the veiw from titan was my fav (can't remember the precise name...)

anyway...

what did you mean by not sleeping in the "supine position"? I'm not sure what that is (or is it a typo?). So, sleeping on your left side will improve your sleep, will it improve your chances of AP too?
