I felt that I got very close today, but I had a strange symptom that I've never heard of going on. My forehead, more specifically right between my eyes had a rhythmic throbbing going on. It wasn't painful but it felt really strange. Any ideas?

It's probably just blood flow causing a tickling sensation.

Might be third eye related. Depends on the 'throbbing' sensation.

I could swear that my 3rd eye at times will seem to 'open' like a shutter.
Just depends on my state of mind.

Sometimes right after a Lucid Dream or a Near A/P. Near A/P?  Meaning I have had the vibrations.
Then knew what was going on. However, never fully left my body.
I felt like I was traveling but I never was actually 'out'.
I am 'Aware' but Confused at the same time if that makes any sense.
I totally get stoopid and forget what I planned to do once I Projected.
Sometimes I will end up asking for help to raise my vibrations.  It will sound like I am saying it outloud on while in bed.
I am not known for talking in my sleep so I don;t know if I am or not.

When I wake up (I usually have to wizz...<sigh>) My 3rd eye is wide open. I am seeing all sorts of shapes, faces, distorted things, etc.
However my need for a drink of water and a wizz is greater then laying there and trying to slip back into my 'Dream' or A/P.  Damn it!  hehe!

I never have had any throbbing in my frontal lobe while doing this.

Also, I do not mean to highjack anyone's thread...just this stuff just happened to me fairly recently and I thought I would share it.
So I apologize if I have ticked anyone off....

It was a rhythmic pulsing, throbbing that was very steady. I've never experienced it before. It felt like something trying to come out of my head. Anyway, now that it has happened, I can still feel it subtle, in the back ground until I focus on it and then it becomes more pronounced again.
