Mouth wateringly bad

These issues are covered in a number of obe books and also here at the forum in previous threads. Regarding saliva, I would recommend positioning your head a bit diffently until you find a position where it isn't a problem.

With respect to being relaxed, this is very important. There are a number of methods that people use to relax the body. Take a look at past topics here. You can use the search engine to do that. Just type in relaxation and see what you come up with.

Some people also use a binaural beat cd or the Brainwave Generator to assist in helping them get to the proper state. The state you need to reach is the mind-awake/body-asleep state (what Robert Monroe referred to as Focus 10). This is absolutely critical in obe/ap practice.

My suggestion is to read some of the online resources here at the Astral Pulse. Take a look at our File Library under the Resources tab at the top of the page. Also, check over several websites by Robert Bruce and Robert Peterson for free online obe book/advice.

this is a common problem.  try gently placing the tip of your tongue against the roof of your mouth, just behind your teeth.  keep it there throughout your session.  your mouth will stop watering.

I read somewhere to make sure you do not have the after taste of something sweet in your mouth.

That your mouth is producing saliva is a good sign, that you make progress with your meditation.

You can just swallow the saliva.

Like said before, make sure you have the mouth closed with the tip of your tongue against the roof of your mouth, just behind the front teeth.

How can I relax my tongue if I have to hold it up against the top of my mouth? I tried this and my tongue eventually gets tired and I have to bring it back down... or am i doing something wrong?

I realised after a while when conciously trying 2 project that if my head was facing forward or even slightly 2 the side i would start 2 tense my neck with the excitement when the vibrations kicked in so now i lay my head 2 the side flat against the pillow

Ronaldo, I'm not sure exactly what you're doing, but I might add that when energy hits the pituitary it can cause a sensation as though there was a pressure on the roof of the mouth and also can cause the effect of excess saliva to form.

What I do is at the start of my meditation I suck all the saliva out of my mouth and swallow it. Then my tongue stays also automatically attached with the tip to the roof of my mouth just behind my teeth. Then I forget about it.

Try to give it not to much importance, and try to shift your awareness with your concentration to another place f.e. your lower belly.

With my fourth trance, I did swallow my saliva and my body still slept. Maby thatll help

Make sure the upper side of your tongue is moderatly dry (lacking of excess saliva instead) for your mouth.  Then press 1/3 of the front of your tongue on the top of your mouth. Then just make sure the saliva stays below your tongue.  A comfortable position for the tongue to do this is easy to find.

My meditation are seriously hindered cos my mouth never stops producing saliva, my neck and face can never be relaxed enough to fall into trance... [:(]

any help would be appreciated
