Every night I meditate, and most nights try to astral project. Also throughout the majority of the day whenever im sitting down i can feel my third eye and exersize it, i also sometimes vibrate what might be the ear chakras but im not sure, it just feels like there is 2 pressure balls inside my head on both sides and i can hear high frequencies (just high pitch vibrations) when I do it mostly. Also when I meditate, and try to project i am usually high off cannabis.

That was just some background info getting to the point, when im trying to astral project either cross legged or lying down I can usually feel my third eye, and what I think are the ear chakras vibration, and get to the point were im extremly heavy and then i just click in and go to that other place, that when you visualize it shuts out all your other senses. I can get it sometimes but its usually just by trial and error. Does any one have some techniques that i could try that would help me out with this?

Thanks! (_8^(|) :-D

I smoke too, but never before trying to have an out-of-body experience. So not to be a buzz kill you should probably lay off the cannabis before trying if you want a better chance of success.

A technique for you would be to focus solely on the high frequency (ringing?) that you hear. Try to make it grow louder and louder and "follow it". It should lead you into vibrations and pop you out if you're lucky.

I haven't smoked, but from what I've heard, it deters OBE experiences. There are various techniques listed all over the forum and several very helpful guides. Steelhawk gave a good suggestion for you, too.
Take to the sky, feeling so alive! Past the clouds to the Milky Way, share our secrets with the starry brigade. The stars surround us like a million fireflies. For once I see infinity... it's in your eyes.

Same here ChopstickFox. I haven't smoked. But Steel Hawk has given us a wonderful technique to try it.

Smoking cannabis for me was how i accidentally discovered the whole phenomenon. Once I realized what I was actually going through I stopped smoking for 15 days and had amazing experiences. I now smoke much less frequently and never on days where I want to try and OBE.

Cannabis in my opinion is a huge mind opener, breaks down barriers I could never imagine. However I think it only opens doors and it is up to you to walk through them on your own.
