Hello,  new to the site as I'm wondering if I'm having out of body's,  it happens occasionally, I never feel I get very far Other than falling off my bed. It starts with me feeling like I'm not quite in sleep but I Suddenly get e very heavy then I hear a swooshing sound that's very loud rushing through my body, IT gets very loud and scares me. I try and calm myself down and make myself wake up but I'm too heavy,  I try to move but I I do is seem to roll off my bed and I feel like I hit the floor hard, then I really do wake up, but I'm back in my bed, but my arm or what ever I hurt seems to hurt in real ! Can anyone explain xx

It sounds more like you are falling out of bed .  If you were out of body you would go through the floor . You could either hand cuff your self to the bed or sleep on a pad close to floor .  desert rat

You are experiencing Sleep Paralysis, which is one of the ways to get nonphysical.

The hurting is a residual effect from the 'imagined' or perceived trauma that you feel you have gone through during the Sleep Paralysis.

Hi,
What you're doing sounds effective. The roll on to the floor isn't working for you too well. Try being as light as a feather and floating away instead. You can do this like many others have. Get away from your physical too. Think its easy and it will be. Think not and its much harder.
Enjoy.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.
