Title: Muscle pain right before projecting
Post by: Spacemaker on March 24, 2011, 00:06:31
Last night when my projection started, as i was leaving my body i felt the most intense pain in my stomach muscles as well as my groin muscles. It's as if someone was squeezing those muscles as hard as they could (just the feeling itself, i didn't actually think some one was there)

I have a friend who is a reiki master and says its a build up of energy in my solar plex...i do believe her because that's where the silver chord extends from.

Any other opinions, or any experiences like this?

Monroe and Peterson has reported something similar. Stomach pain could be non-physical energy centers that are un-adopted to the huge flow of non-physical energy that is needed to OBE. The pain will quickly go away as the non-physical body centers become more developed, perhaps in a day.

Energy work like NEW can help balance the your whole energy system and remove uncomfortable areas.

I reported abdominal pain in a post way back when during a projection... when I woke from the experience I found my arm tucked under my body across my stomach area... I concluded the pressure was amplified to the point of discomfort for some reason.

if you wanna go the whole energy route, you'd be surprised how well a nice jog can release energy.  maybe a quick jog and then a good stretch before practice would help (maybe even with a little tea that relaxes muscles, maybe something with kava or passion flower or something in it).
