Well, I HAD AN OBE!

Last night, I was REALLY, REALLY tired. I decided I'd lie down and try to project and escape my torn up, sick body. In about 2 minutes of relaxing and breathing, the vibrations came. I focused hard on them and they got stronger. I was unconscious about 3-5 minutes and when I came out I was standing upright above my body. Strange though, my eyes were open. At any rate, I was stuck up there, partially blind. Soon, my vision cleared and I was so lucid it was scary. I then lost all control and flew through my window and carefully examined the card that I had facing the street that I hadn't seen. Overjoyed, I was suddenly flipped upside down and lost almost all lucidity so I decided I'd go back to my body. Leaping up out of my bed, I sneaked out of the house and looked at the card on my window facing the street. It matched!!!!!!!!
Tried to get out again this afternoon. Got about 4 hours of good sleep

AmericanIdiot,

Good deal.... congrats!!

If you can you should notify Selski and have your experience added to the perm post she created. Also, please add this to my post too.

I've been still at with the car experimentation. The last time I tried this was last Sunday. I placed the card in another place of the house and went to the wrong location while out of body and was pulled back.. Nothing like a wasted attempt..:)

this is a nice experience well done! I'm looking forward to your next experiment

I'm gonna suck I know, but I find that a bad idea.

Just posting the successful experiences on such threads will bias the results. Sure it is nice to read, so I can understand that. But from a scientific viewpoint it is not right. just wanted to mention that. There is a certain chance to guess a card right (1:52= 1.92%) so this will happen from time to time. if you guys just post the hits it will falsify the results. It might look like it is possible to see the cards when it is actually just guessing.

Although i believe that you guys actually saw the real correct card! That you can call contradictoriness, lol

Tombo,

I think its important to show people's attempts at validation with the cards if its their first or tenth time at it. Just because one sets their intent out to validate a card, but the experience shows a different form of validation is equally important.

If it wasn't for people like Selski or AmericanIdiot to come forward with these experiments this board would be pointless. People shouldn't hold back about their validations.

Who needs validation?I think this validation thing is pointless. Every ober knows when he has been in a obe... The only sense I can find to the card thing is to create a clear purpose that may help to obe better than just going to sleep as any other day. Other than that, pintless.

David Warner

loco,

Validation is definitely not pointless. I've experienced thousands of projections and to have validation is nice. It keeps your focus, objective and reaching for higher and successful results.

Most people are able to project a few times at random, but the real skill is to project at least once a week or more and control the environment through validation and goals.

Good job! You know, I think I'll try this experiment for the very reason that tvos just voiced (ironic as the sentence may be ;-) ). If I had a goal, I should have an easier time at it. Well, I'm off to get a random card lying around my house lol (I don't have a full deck, just random cards lying around... You think a magic card would work? It's slightly more complicated than a number and a few shapes, but even so ;-) )

[Edit] I mean Magic: The Gathering (I'm such a nerd llolol)

Congratulations, that must have been exciting seeing the card matching!

Keep it up, I just hope I have the same luck as you.

David Warner

Brettb,

Yes, it was definitely nice to see the match. I am still working the cards and have had success and failure which is to be understood. Although, 8months at this does drive much energy from you. Time to move on into other experiments and higher levels.
