My experience last night!

So, I posted in the members intro forum and I said I would let you guys know of any LD or AP I experience so here goes.

The dream starts out with me walking down one of the main boulevards of my town. It seemed normal until I realized nearly every person in my town was outside and everything was covered in ice and they were slipping and falling everywhere. It's at that point that I became lucid as I looked down and noticed I wasn't slipping and falling as I was hovering a few inches off the ground. At that point I used my method for flying (if any of you have seen Heros the tv series, imagine the way that Nathan petrelli takes flight. As I am up in the air, I visualize going somewhere warmer and start flying, as I'm flying I feel a shifting sensation and end up in the parking lot of my old HS. I see friends from school talking on the ground and some of them are talking and pointing at me as I am about 50 feet above the ground. I land and walk over to a friend that I went to school with. He asks me "dude, how were you flying?! Thats not possible!" at that point I say just grab my hand. I then take off and he is flying with me. We flying around the school and as we are about to land, I wake up. Wish I could of stayed longer but let me know what you guys think!

It sounds meaningful.  Was your dream in color?  I have dreams of HS from time to time.  I would love to go back to some of those times.  I sometimes dream about childhood friends that I have not seen in years.  Have you had a chance to interpret what some of those things that are unique to you and your experiences might mean?  If anything comes to light, I would love to hear your thoughts about this dream

Well Hesperus, yes my dreams were in color, thankfully . As for interpreting them, usually when I have had a dream about HS or old friends, I am usually am craving validation as I haven't been getting it at home. Seeing my old friends, even if it is in a dream makes me feel as if I'm wanted and needed by someone. I know it sounds sad, but with my experiences, that's what this type of dream has come to represent to me. Any other questions or insight I would love to hear.

Pretty interesting! Perhaps it's an indication that you're doing well in certain areas of life, or eventually will. Maybe those peoples' astral bodies really were there, and so was yours (in an astral version of it, though).

I don't know what to make of it, but it seemed incredible! One of the things I wonder is if there are two people really familiar with astral projection who have met each other knowingly at the astral realm. That'd be REALLY interesting to do; to arrange to meet somewhere specific, and meet on the astral realm.

I completely agree! I am striving to get a conscious OBE for some time now. I have had extensive experience with LD though and seem to have the most control in these dreams. I was thinking the same thing about my astral body interacting with their astral bodies as sometimes when in an LD if things are fuzzy I just demand clarity and my vision clears. I think it would be awesome to have a conscious OBE and meet with someone in the astral plane.

So, a quick update for anyone caring to read about my experiences, I had my first encounter with the vibrational state last night. I was laying in bed listening to an Isochronic beat application I downloaded and just trying to relax, I'd say roughly 20 min or so into it the beat sorta started making a sound akin to standing in a room with a ton of bass playing all around me. I felt an electric like surge flowing through my body, I attempted to stay calm but the sheer suddenness of them caused my heart to nearly beat out of m chest, which brought me back to reality. Do you guys think I reached the vibrational state? Input is greatly appreciated!
