hi keegan, welcome to the site.  obe stands for oblong balloon episode.  all of the members here have them.  it's a medical condition that effects certain people when they lay down to sleep.  usually when we lay down to sleep, a pschological transformation takes place where we all feel like we've been turned into oblong shaped balloons.  we can't talk or hear anything during the entire episode and it can be quite scary if you don't know what's going on.  we come to this site for comfort until a cure is found.  doing a search on the forum might prove useful.  good luck.

I have a friend, who had some OBEs without actually trying to, and she is very much afraid of not being able to come back to her body. Is that a real danger?
