Yea your right, I should vote.       I guess I'll vote yes because I'm not actually sure if they in fact give spirtual properties but if you really believe they do then maybe thats enough in itself to give you the motivation to project.  So I guess if you really believe it works than you can, I guess you could say, trick your mind into it working.

I know some people who told me that they had some crystals that were supposed to help in getting an OBE. Do they count as stones?

I put my crystals in my fish tank.  they seem to like them and they are healthy and happy.   Least I think they are.   And yes, I think crystals are stones/rocks...  anyone?

I voted yes, but I don't think they make a difference for beginners -- they don't replace the basics of meditation, etc, which are enough to have an OBE.

I'd say it might make a difference but they wouldn't really understand what the difference was or be able to convey the information across as everything would be new to them. Furthermore, if they were into crystals they most likely would have read of others experiences and be subject to social comparison theory. It can all be very exciting at first and they want to be a part of it.

A friend of mine that's a Kineisiologist came around recently with a crystal. I am not an expert on them myself but she said that she placed it on her third eye and she had "all soughts of stuff coming in". Which she did not elaborate on, nor did I ask her to. As I am not in the know on crystals I am not sure of this but I sincerely trust her word.

Has anyone got any sites on the use of crystals? I've never really looked into them.
