Naps and OBE's

Yeah, naps are probably good because they send the body to sleep.  Same way it's apparently easier to project after sleeping.

All of my projections (3 of them) happened after naps or when I woke up in the middle of the night.  It's like what Huwie said, your body is already asleep but your mind is awake.  It sucks though b/c I can't nap as much as I want b/c I have a job.  I've been trying to remember to try to project when I wake up at night, but most of the time I just fall right back to sleep.  Ohh well, I guess practice makes perfect.

While I rarely have time for a nap these days, I find that every time I take a nap, I will be startled out of the nap by a sudden feeling of intensity, as if I am made of purely energy. I realize that my body is asleep and that I can leave my body.  Naps are incredible for inducing OBE's, yet I don't know why, unless it is because of the brevity of the nap, or the difference in depth of sleep.

Any personal stories or thoughts on this one?
