Multiple false awakenings

Hi Camilla !

I have experienced something similar. It was strange, and quite frustrating too ! let me explain.

I woke up to find myself floating up out of my body. After the initial excitement, I stayed calm, and remembering some advice from Robert Bruce, kept my projection "short & sweet", to increase the chances of me actually being able to remember it.

So I looked back at my body on the bed, and re-entered it. I woke up, and picked up the note-pad next to my bed, to record my experience.

A couple of minutes later, I woke up again. I realised that there were no notes in the book ! The whole thing had been a dream - that was the frustrating part.

But was it a dream ? I pondered this for a while and concluded that the projection part was real, but the "false awakening" was actually another seperate projection. The reality of the surroundings, the note pad etc. were a result of my mind's intentions being fully realised within the astral. This was because I had expected to wake in the physical, so I took my surroundings for granted. Whereas, when an individual is aware that he/ she is concious within the astral planes, his mind-set conciously creates the plasticity of the experience.

Consider the descriptions of deceased individuals who are trapped in belief-system territories, but specifically those who do not realise they have died. Their predicament is similar to the person who does not realise he / she is in the astral...They create a world around them with which they are accustomed.

In short - my hypothesis is this : A false awakening is an "astral projection" where the mind believes that the physical body has woken up, like any other day.

Yeah, I've been there!!

I think the most I've had must be 5 or 6 in a night - it can drive you mad in the end.  I've sat up in bed and written down my experiances only to realise I'm still dreaming!!

I've found them quite useful in the transition from lucidity to obe though.

There's a great animated film called 'Waking Life' - it deals with  this

Dear Astravellers,

Has anyone of you experienced Multiple false awakenings? Its a phenomenon I´ve had a couple of times in my life. The emotional reaction I´ve had when this confusing has absoluteley nervous.

Here´s the issue:
In the worse cases of my experices I´ve  woked up in several diffrent beds. Like the bed in my ealy childhood, a bed in a room that I can´t identify...a.s.o and finally in my own bed. Ya right...
And I get up, take a few steps, and on the way to the bathroom I realize that, excrement (excuse me for the word) I´m still projected, I´m at wrong frequency. (This is where you easily panic.) Okey, calm down, think of the body...one...two...

I´m back. Back in the physical, I open my eyes, I have 5 sences in a 3-dimensional room. Puuh! I´m back. But not in the same shape.I´ve changed in terms of respect for what I´m dealing with.

Anyone else that experieced this dislocations/body-shifting stuff.

Warmest,
Camilla
