Well, I had another OBE this morning. I remember rolling out of my body, but i don't remember going out the door of my room. I found my self in my hallway really fast. My eyes where are weird. I then opened them more. Then I was like am I sleep walking? I kind of got scared, and tried to put my hand through the wall that was to the left of me. My hand couldn't go through it though. I thought about walking back to my room and then I woke up.

I meditated last night, so I guess this is why I had one. When ever I meditate for an hour or so I get one every time.

I really hate not being able to pass thru something.

You need to KNOW you can do it. It's that simple.
Any thoughts to the contrary and they win over.
Intend to feel something on the other side then put your hand through.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

That sounds like advice Bruce Lee would give. "Don't punch your opponent. Punch through them."

My problem is when I have a specific task or goal to accomplish. It becomes so physically real that I limit myself to normal physics. I am getting better at remember to do some different stuff though thanks to everyone here.

I know that one too. It's the only reality when it starts but things start to wake memories and then your awareness starts to kick in. Usually too late to do much but on occasion you get to strut your stuff and end the task quickly. The rest of the time available is yours. It's also very intense but remembering what you wanted to do at that exact time is another story.

I have this theory. No one has to follow my theories or believe them by any means. I may be so off the mark on a lot of what I believe. Point is, I'm just sharing some of my theories, based on what I've experienced.

I think that, just like with this dimension, the lower/middle/higher astral regions have an ether-like material that gives things density. It forms the "material" and "matter" like stuff.

I believe that for us to transcend the laws of physics, we need to get to a higher vibration or just believe we can do it. There are some planes in OBE that are so close to waking reality, that you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Laws of physics and gravity seem to apply, here. When I have false awakenings, I will literally feel the bed sheets beneath me, or will feel myself physically stumbling out of bed. But none of it is really real. I will sometimes project and will carry on with my business, thinking I'm in waking reality, but will find many things to be too unusual or out of place. Once, I went astral and I climbed a tree, tried to jump off of it and tried to fly (I flapped my arms and everything), but I just fell to the ground. I didn't bounce off the ground like off a trampoline (as some people have reported happening), but it didn't hurt, either. I just got back up and carried on. In other experiences, though, I'll be able to fly with ease. It's all about YOUR mindset. If you want to go through a walk, concentrate every ounce of your energy into going through that wall. Want it. Want it like no one's business. Try not to force it, either. Just... let things be.

I once had a False Awakening where I awoke, got out of bed and started to walk out of my room. I passed my dresser and there was a little dog and carriage toy sitting on top of it. I didn't pay that much attention to it, I was incredibly groggy at the time. I kept walking until I heard the yapping. I turned around and this dog toy thing was yapping like small dogs usually do.

That immediately awoke me for real, lol!  :-)

I posted about this somewhere here on the Astral pulse before, it was surreal.

Another time when I was younger, I awoke, got out of bed, went down ate a bowl of cereal, went back upstairs, got changed for school, finished, turned around and left my home to walk to school, got half way there and then woke up for real.

Needless to say, I was totally "dumbfounded" and yes, I was late for school that day, lol!  :-D

There's nothing like a good False Awakening to confuse the Hell out of you and start your day off right, lol!

False awakenings are serious traps for our minds. It is after one that I can really set myself up for a scare. Like LionHeart, I am always peeved with myself for being frightened but when you really believe nap time is over and you see a monster in the room...ahhh...It's funny after but in the moment,it is a different story.

Going AP can be indistinguishable from the physical. My one and probably only fear is that I will jump out of a window to go flying, only to find out I'm actually awake for real and plummeting to a very solid unforgiving landing.

For this reason, and I have practised it religiously for many years, whenever I go NP and before I do anything dangerous like jumping through a solid glass 2nd floor window, I ALWAYS do a reality check. The simplest and most reliable is simply to jump off the ground and hover in the air. If I am NP, then I will ALWAYS hover momentarily and float gently back down. This is a pretty conclusive and reliable check. Then I launch myself recklessly out of the window!

But never without the reality check. Call me paranoid!

No, I call you intelligent!

You know better, that's an error no one ever wants to make!  :-)

This is a testament to the reality of the NPR and why it's just crazy to deny it's objectiveness IMO.

Oh gosh, reality checks aren't a bad idea. You don't wanna end up like that crazy chick off of Inception.

That sounds like it could be a opening line for a Twilight Zone episode. Cue the music!  :-D

It's what the 'crazy chick' from Inception waffles on about before she jumps.

My first OBE I had was so real I couldn't tell the difference. I fond my self sitting on the bed talking to someone in the corner of my room. I wasn't scared or nothing. I realized what was happening and turned on the light. After that he vanished. I then went out my door scared out of my mind. I then knocked on my sisters door and she would not answer. I didn't know if that was an OBE or I was truly awake.

I hate FA they scare the excrement outta me. Then when I find out that I'm actually dreaming I get a large static shock sent to my brain, and it hurts.
