Depends how far you can take yourself. But most commonly you will walk out into an astral replica of your room. Dont confuse it for a Lucid dream you can notice the differences easily

I think the first thing to do would be to explore your surroundings. Everytime I have had an OBE I have tried to further than my room and everytime there seems to be a barrier, in my experience is like someone trying to tell me to learn about my surroundings first before going any further.
