Title: New, advice please... (LONG read)
Post by: andrew-pd on March 31, 2011, 10:30:12
Hey there, my names Andrew and I'm 16.

Although I'm young, I've been interested in the 'unexplained' and astral projection since I can remember.

When I first started learning things I was very much into energy manipulation and started from the basic chi/psionics perspective this at the time is all I knew about, people with any knowledge of energy manipulation would know all about the simple 'chi balls'. So I practiced that and making things hotter/colder showing my friends also(who were pretty shocked I could make them feel energy remotely) infact, I taught one of them a few little tricks and such.

Obviously this is just begginer things that I just so happened to find, but that was around 3 years ago. (Don't think I wasn't at all curious and slightly frightened because I was tbh, I just was always going back to learn more however much fear I felt of the unknown)

I stopped for a while, unknowing what to do now.

A year later, I was researching even more and found out about ASTRAL PROJECTION.
This is what I was so very interested in! And still am! Its mad, I spend hours and hours each day just reading experiences and tutorials... I tryed to ap then but ended up lucid dreaming that I was having on obe (which can infact work perfectly for astral projection) <--- to those that want to ap but can only achieve lucid dreams.

So yeh about a year ago I lucid dreamt that I was about to have an obe. (My surroundings at the time were strangely enough in a school, and I was laying on a desk face down) Remeber I was lucid dreaming this!.. I wasn't actually led down on a school desk or in a school for that matter. OMG, just realised something amazing but will tell you guys later.

Carrying on.. I felt like I was floating but I got scared... Very scared and felt myself 'jolt' right back to my body and woke.
This was years ago, ever since I have just been researching and researching because I actually have feared being in the astral world and what I would see, this is where I ask for your help. I am fearfull. I don't want to be but I am.. I want to master ap but I feel I can't due to fear.

I could EASILY get to the point where I'm slipping my astral body out of my physical one at bed time but I just simply don't and now I want to change this!

Many thanks, sorry for the long read I just needed to get everything out of me!
Andrew.

EDIT! The reason why I am absolutely shocked is because recently I have gotten a job at a school.. As an IT apprentice. Earlier I was on about a lucid dream I had at a school.. IT WAS THIS school. It was this exact office I sit at everyday. I was dreaming about having an obe in it, a year ago! And I have worked here for 2 months but its only just clicked

You don't have to believe me but this is all absurd to me at the moment, I honestly can't explain how shocked I am. Yet excited I am, the room is even in the same layout as I remember in the dream.

There aren't really any tricks to overcoming that fear.  It's a really intense unknown that you're studying and practicing.  The only real solution is to just "man-up" and take the plunge.

Welcome to the Pulse.

If you were lucid dreaming, you were already astral projecting. They're the same thing. Does that help with your fear at all?
