chakra help

i'm not sure that the chakras are linear- there is probably energy transfers going on between them. i "feel" some of them some of the time but some i have barely felt.NEW energy. chi gung, acupuncture put energy into them through some secondary circuit. a couple times after acupuncture i felt energy in my brow chakra.

when attempting AP i usually charge energy up to my base chakra,  (through my legs) charge the chakra, then move onto the next one. BUT.... a post some other guy wrote here is that he can charge his brow chakra but not the others....my point is how does he "get" there without going through the subsequent chakras first.   Kinda like counting to 6 without counting the previous 5 numbers.

Im really coufused about the energy rasing and chakra stimulation process and ive read the treatise many times, but can anyone give me there tecniques?
