Title: new to astral projection have tried several times... please help
Post by: starlookeraz on April 20, 2011, 19:13:52
Hey guys i'm a very open minded person and i've been reading a lot in astral projection, and i've been trying  to project for the past several months with binureal beats methods through headphones,  is this a good way to try it or no?  I've had a few weird experiences i'm not sure if it is ap or not.  I remember  one time my body felt real light and one time I thought I saw a huge white light in front of my face while eyes were close.  My body does get kind of a weird static feeling i guess not sure if this is a vibrational stage or not.

Now I admit I do get somewhat scared when it's pitch black and i'm trying to astral project in my room just feel like i'm not alone sometimes and I wake up to fast which I know hurts astral projection, so please if anyone has any tips on how to relax more I would appreciate it.  I know i'm not doing something right because I haven't fully ap yet but i'm trying :).  It is my goal

It seems like you reached the pre-projection state. Now you just need to overcome your fear and learn how to operate within this unnatural environment. The truth is you really have nothing to fear or be scared of... internalize this and the rest is just overcoming that "in the moment" fear. Most successful APers had to at some point, even the top dog of AP, Robert Munroe. I recommend you practice meditation, as this makes for a calm mind. It will also help you focus in the pre-projection state, which is like surfing a wave. If you choke, you're left to catch the next one if it even comes along. If you focus, you'll ride the wave to the shore.

And binaural beats work for some and don't for others... work with them but don't get too dependent on them.
