hey, I've noticed an issue i have while im deeply relaxed.
after i relax every muscle in my body im clearing my mind, i find myself in a state similar to seconds before falling a sleep.. but im loosing focus i feel like im not in control just a big blur, last night i was doing this full body relaxation , and i couldn't control my body who then roll to the side and wake me from this big blur, anyway i find this issue hard to overcome, i hope u guys have some tips in order to deal with it and proceed to the next barrier :]

Are you doing any exercises that focus your awareness at all? Some sort of a visualization or run-down exercise could help. If you're just sitting and waiting, you're bound to fall asleep.

If you're "trying" to visualize, then you don't quite understand what visualizing really is.
Read this: http://www.astraldynamics.com/tutorials/new-energy-ways/no-visualization.html

Robert Bruce puts it into terms that is very easy to understand and do.  :)

That's true to an extent, but his explanation here is used for his NEW techniques. He states this:

QuoteTo put it in a nutshell: Visualization is NOT a visual skill. You are not supposed to actually see what you visualize. If you do see something it is then no longer classed as visualization. It then becomes a Mind's Eye vision type of ability.

To me, it's becoming semantics at this point. When I visualize, I create a picture in my mind's eye. It's that simple. Visualization has it's uses way beyond NEW and is well worth the time developing the skill if you feel you have the inclination. I guess if you're not good at visualizing, it might not be worth it. I was half-decent at it and spent a lot of time practicing certain visualizations when I started meditating (before I had the internet and thought you HAD to if you wanted to meditate). I'm very glad I took the time as it sharpened it a great deal. It goes hand in hand with concentration which is normally problem #2...

See, now personally, to me, I wouldn't call that exactly visualizing.
An example would be me asking you to "picture a pink elephant in your head"... you won't *literally see* a pink elephant, but you can visualize one just fine.
That's the difference between visualization and mental imagery to me.

Perhaps we are just arguing semantics.  LoL

When I picture a pink elephant, say even with my eyes open, I can choose to ignore what my eyes are seeing and focus on the elephant in my minds eye. It's far from clear - the best I can describe it is as though it's behind a dark translucent curtain, but it's definitely visual. The better my concentration, the better I can focus on the image. Bringing in other senses like imagining touching it, or even licking it and smelling it can make it more real. (I just noticed pink elephants smell no better than regular ones. Tastes better though...)

Though meditation (like 3rd eye or phasing techniques), it'll eventually fling the curtain open and it'll be like looking at it (or something anyways, for me it's not always the target) with eyes wide open. I suppose clairvoyance.

But, yeah, you're right - I guess that's why Frank chose his own terms like "run-down" rather than "visualization". That way he could start new in teaching his methods to help people avoid misunderstood concepts.

I'm no AP expert, but when I'm shifting mind states, I find the best thing to do is NOT try to focus and control everything, but to keep my basic intent. For example if my intention is to view another planet, but I fall into a dream about going to the store, I'll have some of the products in the store appear with planets on them as a reminder.

It's possible that your mind just wants to wander, too. Sometimes it's nice to just let it go into a fantasy. When that fantasy runs dry and turns dull, that's a good time to take over and project if you want
