newcomer...needs sum questions ansewered on experience

ok so ill introduce myself first.. my names Rick im 20 years old and from aus
iv always been interested in astral travel but never experienced anything after a few failed attempts i was getting quite skeptical
but about 30 minutes ago i may have acheived a sligh out of body experience..
lately i have been having very intese dreams and waking to find my body still asleep.. i guess ppl would know wat im talking about..
but this time it was different..
i was dreaming that i was in a house iv never been in before.. and this house was rather strange i was fiddleing with a computer and a video camera (not sure why) and there was sumthing about a little girl that had been locked in a closet for hours.. anyway i eventualy endud up walking into a bathroom
and finding a bathtub full of water.. (i was sleeping on the couch by the way)
i noticed while i was staring into this bathtub full of water ii was drained of all energy n fell face first ino the bathtub..as soon as my face hit the water it was like i went under n into a different world my eyes had opened and im pretty sure my wind was awake but my body still asleep as i was looking around my lounge room i think due to the sudden shock i was having trouble comprehending wat i was seeing(the couch came across as a rathe crudely drawn hippo) but after a few seconds i eventualy came to terms with wat i was seeing , still not physicly awake i attempted to lift my left arm.. it felt like i was lifting it and everything seemed normal until i looked down n noticed it hadened moved a centermetre but i could feel it in the air it was like the arm i saw was compety detatched.. after about half a second of "WTF" time i noticed i could see my arm in the air a faint vision of another arm was above the rea physical arm but i could feel this one it was ghost like in aperance but i could move it and feel it it took me about a second before i freaked out n put my arm straight back down n stayed perfectly still until i was fully awake n ready to move..

if anyone can shed sum ligh on wat exactly happened to me it would b apreciated
any replies on here would b great but if sum1 can reall explain to me wat may have happened i would really like to hear from them via email or msn  Rock_out_351@hotmail.com  thank you very much..

You may have OB'd out of a dream- it happens- if you can lucid dream you can do it on purpose from the dream.

yeh i guess but i was defenetly awake when i moved my arm
i knew wat was going on and i was in the lounge room
and wat is lucid dreaming
