Title: no pain during OOBE
Post by: soarin12 on July 24, 2013, 09:34:39
I fell asleep with a bad migraine last night and at some point went OOB.  It was a very long OOBE and one of my typical ones where I just flew around the countryside exploring. There was not even a hint of pain when I was OOB. The moment I entered my body the pain of the migraine immediately started pounding.  I have had regular dreams before where I have felt the migraine pain throughout the dream.  Not so with OOBES apparently. Just thought this was interesting.  What have you all discovered about physical pain and OOBES? --and also pain with OOBES vs. regular dreams?

I live in Chronic Pain and notice it goes away when I Phase too.

This makes perfect sense though because when we AP, we are turning this physical world off and that means all bodily sensations as well!

Pain dissapears totally which is good. In a dream my migraine with the visual disturbances stays exactly the same as in the physical. Even in a lucid dream it appears and removes my vision.
Some connection exists with this condition in the NP visual department. I dont get the headaches that often, twice a year. This pain never affects the non physical.
Broken bones and toothache, those nasties go too as do muscle pains.

Interesting topic.  :-)

What about your regular dreams?  Do you feel pain in those?

No, but pain is what wakes me up quite a bit at night. To get into a less painful position.
